That morning I woke up and Nathen had left me a note saying:

Dear Addi,
Jacob is making us do some patrols. I'll meet you at school.

I thought it was so sweet. I looked over at my clock and it said that it was 7 oclcok. I was running late again. I found some clothes and then pulled my hair into a ponytail, knowing that it would have to come done when I put on my helmet. I put on some mascarra and then headed downstairs to get something to drink. Edward had me a glass of sweet tea on the counter when I walked into the kitchen. Once I told everyone bye I walked into the garage and got on my motorcycle. I was running super late now. I got to the main rode and drove fast well not that fast more like 5 miles over the speed limit. After I got the main red light going out of Forks into La Push I went really fast. Unfortunately right after I hit the red light a cop pulled out and turned on his lights. Great I thought to myself. The cop walked over and ask if I knew that I was going 40 in a 35 mph zone.
I said yes sir. I do. I'm late for school.
Well that's no excuse. He told me. I'll need license and regastration along with your insurense card.
I gave him my ok ense first and he walked back to his car. I the started digging through my front compartment for everything else. Within a minute I noticed that the battery light was on reminding that I had left it on.
I yelled back to him that I was just going to turn the battery light off. He did t look up. So I stuck my pointer finger out and flip the switch down. The next thing I knew I was lying on the ground face down with the cop ontop of me. He grabbed my arm and pushed it up so it would hurt and he then yelled give me your other arm. The stupid guy did t know that he had both oft arms. He got out his little stick thingy they always carry around and hit my side with it. I then yelled you havey arms. He cuffede and then told me to get in the back of the car.
Sir, what did I do for you to arrest me? I ask.
You were speeding and trying to get away. He told me.
No sir I didn't. I even yelled at you that I was turning the battery off. I said.
Get in the back of the car. He said.
I was scared. I had never had a run in with the cops before, only when I was in the Coast Guard. My side was killings along with my head when he tackled me my head hitthe ground pretty hard. When we got to the police station I was crying by then. I saw Charlie, Bella's dad when we walked in.
What happen Addi? Charlie ask.
I don't know. I said.
He turned to the cop and ask the se question. I stop her for speeding and she tried to run once I had her stop.
I said. I didn't try to run. I told him I was turning the battery off. I finished with a big breathe that hurt my side. I'll call Carlie and Esme and tell them. He put me in a cell and the. Unhandcuffed me and then walked away were I couldn't see him. I raised it shirt up to see if I had a bruise to where the cop hits and not only was it blue and black it hurt so badly. Right when I was looking at it Charlie came over and said that Carlisle and Esme would be here in a minute and ask where did I get that bruise.
I said. That cop hits with his bat thingy because he thought I was trying to resist when he had both of my hands.
Okay. Charlie said and then he open the door to let me out. I believe you, he continued. I know you wouldn't run and I certainly k ow you wouldn't resist. He told me.
Thanks I said hold my side and my cheek where it was skint from the gravel when he pushed me down. When Carlisle and Esme got to the police station my head felt like it was going to spin right off of my neck. Charlie told them what the cop did and Carlisle well was furious I had never seen him get mad before but man he was mad. He ask if he could see where the cop hits and then all of the sudden everything went black.
