We came up over a hill when I heard something crashing around in the trees. I looked around, noticing that Carlisle and Esme were staying a bit back for some reason. I wanted to ask why but the sound was getting closer.
Suddenly the smell hit me, it wasn't as good as the family I had just seen but this was a close second. It smelt like honey, clover, dirt, pine and something I couldn't name. I looked back at Edward and Rosalie, wonder in my eyes.
"Follow your instincts, it's not people this time. Just do what your body tells you." Edward said as he motioned for me to continue.
Rosalie looked up at me and smiled. "You can do this, we will help if you need it."
I turned and walked into the woods in the direction of the smell. I noticed that my footsteps did not make any sound, I kept walking feeling myself crouch down so I would not be as noticeable.
I wanted to get a better look of what this was, so I climbed a ceder tree that was next to where I stood. When I got up about 20 feet I noticed a large grizzly bear below me. I'm not sure how or why but the next thing I knew I was flying down like I jumped out of the tree.
The bear was taken by suprise. I remember jumping from the tree...then next thing I knew I was grabbing it by it's shoulder and turning it to face me.
The bear roared in anger and suprise. I rolled my weight up onto my toes and roared back at it...well I think you could call it roaring or growling. It wasn't sure how to react to this, I could see the confusion and what I would guess could be fear.
I was stairing at the bear when I had a foggy memory of the bear I found in the woods coming at me...staling me. I closed my eyes, focusing on the face of the animal and the look that must have been on my face.
I growled again at the bear and it pulled it's head back to roar. That's when my eyes focused on the large carotid artery in the animals neck. The pulse of it was almost hypnatizing, it pulsated and relaxed quite a few times in the minute I watched it.
While I was distracted the animal took advantage. It took it's large claws and raked down my chest, trying to inflict damage.
The sound of it's claws tearing my shirt was quickly followed by a sound that I would recognize as metal scraping metal. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to begin again.
How dumb could I be? I almost died the first time from a bear attacking me and now I let another one attack and run it's claws down my chest? I didn't think my angel would be able to save me again.
I waited for the pain, and no matter how long I waited the pain never came. I finally opened my eyes and looked down at my chest. I instantly started laughing, for all the stregnth that the bear put into striking me there was no damage. The only thing that the claw managed to damage was my shirt and that wasn't a big deal right now.
I started laughing, for some reason this was all the funniest thing that I had seen. I walked slowly back to the bear and roared directly into it's face.
The bear backed a few paces away from me, hoping that it could get away from me. I let it run a few feet before launching myself behind it. I remember my muscles coiling like a snake, then next thing I was jumping.
I managed to pull the bear back to a standing positing and rotated it's head back so that I could get at it's throat. Next thing I knew I was sinking my teeth right through the fur and skin, right into it's throat.
The blood was warm, it flowed right down my throat and dulled the burning feeling that had been bothering me before.
I held on to the bear and drank every ounce of blood from it before dropping the skin to the ground and giving it a good kick for good measure.
I heard Edward laugh at that and turned to see Edward, Carlisle, Esme and Rosalie all watching me. I smiled at all of them and jogged back to where they were all standing.
"Sorry about the shirt." I said as I looked down and saw the shirt torn to shreads. I decided to just take the whole thing off and threw it over to the area where the bear carcas was laying.
"How are you son?" Carlisle asked.
"I feel better now, well a little bit. The burn is still there but it is much less then it was origionally." I explained.
"We should hunt more then." Rosalie said as she eyed my chest.
I would have blushed, and maybe I did. I haven't had someone look at me like that before. It was very enjoyable to know that someone enjoyed me even with being a 'vampire.'
I reached out to her and took her hands into mine, we turned and followed everyone else as they headed north.
We came across a good sized heard of deer, I didn't think they smelt as good as the bear but at that point I didn't care I was still hungry and they smelt like food.
I stayed back a little bit and watched how the others hunted their dinner.
Carlisle was the first to strike, he went after a large buck. He instantly grabbed the animal and broke it's neck so that it wouldn't feel any pain. He then proceeded to drink and not make a mess at all.
Esme stuck at the same time as Carlisle, hers was a smaller female. She gently grabbed the dear and brought it to the ground, she sunk her teath in before the animal realized what had happened.
Edward and Rosalie were next to strike. They both went for larger deer, the both of them taking the deer by suprise and snapping their necks and drinking in just a few seconds.
I wondered if it would ever be that easy for me, they made it seem like nothing at all to kill these animals and I noticed that not one of them let a drop fall to the ground below them.
I ran after a small button buck and knocked it to the ground. It tried to get up again and someone ran over and snapped it's neck.
I looked up about to yell at whomever it was when I realized that it was Rosalie coming over to help me.
"Just kill them and drink fast, the blood doesn't stay warm long and when it's cold it's not good for us." She explained.
I smiled up at her and sunk my teeth into it's throat. The taste was not nearly as good as the bear but it finished extinguishing the fire in my throat.
When we were all done we all began walking back to town, everyone discussing where we would be going next. I thought this was strange because I thought that they just stayed in one place and lived their lives like normal people.
"Let's go to Alaska." Esme suggested.
"No we were there a few years ago. How about New York?" Rosalie suggested.
"New York could be fun, but too much sun." Carlisle said.
"How about Washington? It's cloudy a lot there I hear, it's suppose to rain a lot and that would be a nice change." Edward suggested.
I was thinking about all of this when we stepped out of the woods and back into the busy city. I stopped and looked around at all the people who were living their normal lives.
I wasn't paying attention to what everyone else was discussing, a large family had just gone by with a cart loaded with fresh vegetables. I instantly started thinking about my family again, I knew that if we were going to leave town I wanted to stop by and say goodbye to my family.

Ouch! And ouch again!
Method acting? Vampire-playing Robert Pattinson admits he sometimes slips into character when he's out with the ladies.
"I've been known for a little nibble," he told reporters at the London premiere of his film Twilight.
Mr. Pattinson's co-star, meanwhile, shared one of his less-successful efforts to impress the opposite sex. "He tried to pick me up ... and he pulled his groin," said Kristen Stewart, 18. "It was hilarious! He was hurt, but he was laughing."

Nikki, 20, recently told InStyle magazine about how she likes to be comfortable: “I feel comfortable in this [her clothes] because it’s loose-fitting, and I get to sit down in a chair! They put me in 12-inch stilettos [in the movie] because I am supposed to be taller than my sister… It was the running joke that we might not be able to shoot because I might not be able to walk. I was like, ‘Can you just have us sitting and put me on a pillow?’”
The Twilight soundtrack is currently in the #1 spot on Billboard.com and iTunes! The film opens in theaters next week.
So, the past week had been filled with Twilight pictures. Everyday we got at least 2 amazing pictures. Well, now that the Twilight Illistrated Movie Companion is out, there are scans of pictures from the movie in the book on the internet.
And someone from LiveJournal really caught my eye... in a bad way. This particular person is saying stuff like "**** Summit" or "**** Twilight Illustrated Movie Companion". What I don't get is... Why do they choose to look at the pictures?! The person who posted these pictures warned that they would be spoilers, and announced not click the link if they didn't want to see them.
Those who want to be surprised by the movie, that's fine. But they shouldn't go around cussin Summit or Stephenie Meyer or any other fansite because they chose to view them.

There are people that cross our lives
in tiny fractions of time,
in the briefest of encounters,
and yet they leave and incredible mark
in our hearts and in our minds forever.
"Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, that person sends out a tiny ripple of ove and hope, and crossing each other fro a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppresion and resistance."
Now these poems were written by some one else, but deseved to be shared and they kind of have something in commen with the series.

Twilight, the first novel as part of the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer is excruciatingly addictive as it is ubiquitous – there’s always someone buried head deep into a Twilight book either on the train, bus, beach or at the park.
Whilst the latest of the series Eclipse is now heading for our cinemas, lets go back to the first of the series Twilight to see where all the madness began. Sorry to all the Jacob Black fans out there!
(Warning: If you haven’t read Twilight there are numerous plot giveaways in this blog)
