Charlie’s POV
I’m so furious, it’s scary. My daughter has been kidnapped! The chief’s daughter, kidnapped. I’m so angry. I’m not angry at her or Edward. I’m angry at whoever took her. I swear when I find out who it is, I’ll kill them. I will take my biggest gun I own and personally kill them.
Rene and Phil flew in a couple of days ago. I met and talked with Phil. He was a nice guy. He was good for Rene. I was glad she was happy. Well, at this very moment she’s not. She’s got a mixture of emotions. Anger, sadness, and scared. She’s more angry though.
She’s more angrier than me. She told me if she ever see’s who did this to her daughter, she would make them die a slow and painful death.
Note to self: Don’t try to kidnap any of her future offspring.
When she arrived, I agreed she and Phil could stay at the house. It was a tough time and we needed each other right now. Phil even needed us. He said Bella was like the daughter he never had. I was glad Phil and Bella had a good relationship.
The Cullens came over a three days after Bella went missing. They said they were going to visit their cousins in Alaska. They said one of them were very sick. This is a really tough time on them. Especially Edward and Alice.
I could tell Edward really loved her. And Alice was practically Bella’s sister. First an important person in their life is kidnapped and now their cousin is dying.
Jacob said he and his friends had to go to some tribal thing in Arizona. Jacob didn’t want to go, because of Bella, but it was mandatory. They Cullens and Jacob and his friends are leaving today. Edward is coming over soon to talk to me about when he’s gone.
I can tell Edward is taking this hard. The way he looks at Bella, it’s protectively. I know I won’t have a problem with her getting hurt when they get married. That is if they get married.
I see a ton of cases like this. Only one out of a million is where the victim survives. When I told Edward this, he crumpled. He started screaming, “It’s all my fault.”
I told him it wasn’t but he didn’t listen. He started crying tearless sobs. He looked like he could cry but he wasn’t. I passed it off as he’s too scared, angry, sad, and heartbroken to even shed a tear. He really loves my daughter.
He’s even more angrier than Rene. He said if he even heard who it was, he would hunt them down and kill them with his own hands. I told him I would definitely help him out. It’s really hard on him.
I heard a knock at the door pulling me from my thinking.
“Is that Edward?” Rene asked as she blew her nose. Ever since she got here, she hasn’t stopped crying.
“Probably. I’ll get it,” I said.
I walked to the door and opened it. It was Edward.
“Hey, son. How you doing?” I asked.
“Not good,” he said looking at me. His eyes looked like he wanted to cry. They were also pitch black. He had dark, purple circles under his eyes. He was slouched over instead of his usual straight back. He was lifeless. He looked like a zombie. He was paler than he usually was.
“I know, son. It’s hard,” I said.
“It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t of left her alone,” he said.
“Hey, hey! It’s not your fault. It’s whoever took her. That’s whose fault it is. Stop blaming yourself,” I said putting a hand on his shoulder.
The next thing he did shocked me. He looked at me then he hugged me. It was one of those hugs that said, “I’m sorry, Help me!”
I hugged him back and comforted him. “It’s okay. They’ll find her. I promise,” I said.
We walked into the living room. Rene engulfed him into a hug. He hugged her back. He needed so much comfort right now. He was taking this harder than me and Rene. And he’s not even related to her.
He sat down by Rene and said, “Charlie, while I’m gone, please keep me updated. I want to know what’s happening every second. Please.”
“I promise, Edward. As soon as I hear, I’ll call you first. You will be the first to hear it from me,” I said.
“Thank you. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone. I hope soon,” he said.
“Don’t worry. She’s going to be okay. The police are going to find her,” Rene said.
“Okay, well I got to get going. My family is waiting on me,” he said.
We told him bye after he gave us his cell number. I watched him get into his car. He got in and put his head on the steering wheel. A minute later he picked his head up and drove off.
Poor kid.

Grade: A+
The “Twilight” sourpuss looked much less awkward than usual in a stunning strapless midnight blue Monique Lhuillier gown. Kristen topped off her look with a classy diamond bracelet by H. Stern.
Anna Kendrick
Grade: B+
The Best Supporting Actress nominee originally selected a blue dress for her Oscars debut, but had a change of heart and opted to wear an Elie Saab Couture off-the-shoulder blush gown instead. Love the dress, but we’re not too sure about the chunky shoes!
Taylor Lautner
Grade: A-
The “Twilight” heartthrob popped his signature lopsided pose in a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble.
