The next day Jacob and I went to the store and bought everything that was junk food. Then we went to a movie store and got The Covenant, Sweeny Todd, and The Messenger. “Hey Jake what about Van Helsing?” I said trying to lighten up the mood. I looked over at him and he just stared blankly. “Chill, I was kidding.” He had gotten so serious and worried about me, I just missed seeing his big smile that showed all his snowy white teeth. We got home and dumped every thing on the living room table and slipped in The Covenant. We wat ched every one of them. Suddenly I stood up forceful and out of nowhere said “Hey Jake I think I need to go out hunting again.” Jacob stood up with me with a confused look. I felt just as equally confused. “Nessie you went hunting this morning, you never go hunting in the same week let alone the same day, he stated. Are you feeling ok?” I turned around realizing he was right. “I don’t know my throat is just burning worst then ever.” That was an understatement. It felt as if someone had dumped a bag of sand down my throat and I had no saliva at all, but I didn’t want to worry Jacob any more that he already was. “Ok but when your done we should probably go see Carlisle.” “Ya that’s probably a good idea.” While I was hunting I all I could think about was what could possibly be wrong?
“Carlisle?” Jacob bellowed. My parents, uncles and aunt came running in to the living room. My parents already clinging to my sides, my mother daintily touching my curls to try to comfort me. “What’s wrong Jacob?” Carlisle asked automatically going to doctor mode.“That’s the problem we don’t know.” As he curled his fits together. He couldn8 0t take it when I was sick it angered Jake more then anything. “This morning Nessie went hunting and she only goes hunting once a week, well she needed to go again today.” Everyone looked at me with their copper golden eyes shocked. “Nessie I think we need to go up into my lab.” Grandpa gestured with his hand to the stairs and took mine in the other. Jacob held onto the small of my back with his right hand as we walked upstairs.
“Ok Renesmee how are you feeling to day honey?” Grandpa asked in a soothing tone. “Well this morning my skin… no my whole body felt like it was on fire but, yet it didn’t really hurt mainly because I’m always lounging on Jacob. I said effortlessly “It seems like its getting worse now.” I said in the smallest, and defeted voice. “Nessie why the hell didn’t you tell me earlier so we could have come over to see if it could be stopped…” Jacob didn’t have time to finish before Grandpa interrupted. “Jacob I don’t think this is something we can take care of.” He said in the most emotional voice I’ve heard out of him in a long time. I looked back and forth at my crush ed Grandpa and my confused and irate husband Jacob. “See you guys know when I said that Renesmee could die from the disease that was in the blood, but only her human life can die from it?” “Well from the sounds of it your vampire side is becoming more dominate.” “Since your vampire side cannot die your human side is.” “Your turning over Renesmee.” Grandpa said. I could see the concern in his eyes. I was astonished, I didn’t know that I could become a vampire unless someone bit me. I was in a daze, until grandpa’s spoke again “I was going over the test last night and I was looking closer at the ultrasound pictures we took awhile ago and it also turns out your pregnant. I don’t know what’s going to happen to the baby because you turning into a full blooded vampire.” I stopped breathing, my face felt like I had been stuck to Jake's chest for to long. I felt the ground leave me. I finally mustered up the strength and looked at my Jacob. He looked like he was about to die, scream or punch someone. I knew he would do one of them so I meekly pushed out his name “Jake?” “WHAT ARE YOU SAYING THAT MY CHILD IS GOING TO DIE BECAUSE MY WIFE IS TURNING INTO A BLOODSUCKER?” I cringed at that word for a minute. I’ve never heard him say that word. He told me he stop saying it once he imprinted on me. I knew where this was going. “Jacob..please..calm down. Gran dpa stressed each word “I didn’t say that I don’t think that the baby’s going to be hurt. If you remember; Renesmee had a type of shield around her when Bella was pregnant. From everything that I’ve researched this going to be a regular pregnancy but, you two have to listen to everything I tell you to do. Do you understand?” We both nodded. I still couldn’t push any more words out of my mouth.
“Now all you need to is do what your doing every day… though you should probably not sleep together until this is over.” We walked down stairs to find my father standing at the end of the stairs. His eyes glowing and teeth bare, “JACOB BLACK YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!” he roared. Jacob could care less about my fathers words and rush down the stairs and went face to face. Nope, this was not going to happen right now, and with the two men I loved. God I can’t imagine how hard this was for my mother. I stood in the middle of my father and my husband with my hands on both of there chest. The sensation from this was staggering. My right hand felt as if I’d just stuck my hand on a glacier of ice. My left felt as if I was pushing against a burning brick wall. “Dad this is also my fault now I need to go home I don’t feel myself today ok.” That’s all I needed to say for the two to forget their differences. I could see their madness and rage melt away from their faces. They immediately relaxed their once tense bodies. They might get upset with each other more than anything but, they both had one thing in common, their love and compassion for me. I grabbed Jacobs’ wrist and pulled my burning brick wall home.
