This is a small book i am writing about the life of Renesmee cullen after (Breaking Dawn) It is in her point of view for almost the whole time (with a few exceptions). She is now a teenager, trying to figure out what her lifestyle really is. Packed with Action, romance and Adventure i assure you this will be worth your time! But I suggest starting from chapter 1 to get the full impact and information (:



Chapter 27: To hell and Back

I lay still in the darkness, hearing a steady beat of a loud thud echoing throughout me.

Thud.Thud.Thud.

Ugh, even now under the worst circumstances it was annoying.

Thud.Thud.Thud.

The sound seemed so familiar, yet unfamiliar. Was it the steps of someone walking? No..This was the sound of a heart beat.. or rather MY heartbeat.

I suddenly felt rejuvenated and able. My heavy eye lids fluttered open as the darkness flew away.
The light shone through the east window, feeling warm on my skin.

But I felt.. different. And not just a sick different - or an over joyed different. But as if i had changed completely. Like i had after the long hours of burning when i was changed into a vampire. Except this time, i had never felt any pain.

I moved my head, looking around the room. After examining for a moment, I realised I was inside my fathers old room laid down on the bed. I noticed there were medical machines hooked up beisde me, a heart monitor being one of them.

I stared wide eyed at the machine, in shock. It was impossible - there is no way to undo a change! But there on the monitor it clearly showed my heart was moving at a regular rate, pumping blood through my body.

Straight ahead a mirror was placed, facing me. I Looked at it, shocked. My skin was a shade pinker. Tiny crystals that should be forming all over my skin in the sunlight were not there. I saved the most shocking for the last.

I looked up at my face, staring into my eyes. It startled me not seeing the bloodred. They were back to my chocolate brown coloured eyes that everyone cherished so much. My cheeks were flushed pink, as usual.

I gave myself one more look over..
My hair was a mess, I looked overly tired. And I felt sore.Ugh. I looked terrible

I guess I have reason, considering i had been to hell and back. I thought back to the moment, when i really was with my family. Spirtualy. Was that really what death is like - or was it a conversation i made up to comfort myself in the darkness?

But surely i wouldn't comfort myself with neglect, and reject. On the contrary, I never did the expected. Concious or sub-concious apparently.

But despite everything I was or will be, right now I am Back to my normal Half human, Half vampire, fully crazy self. As impossible as it sounds - it happened. So suddenly too.. Only days after the change and my body slowly changes back..
Suddenly i noticed another person in the room. A deep, even breathing caught me by surprise.

I looked down beside me and sure enough, there laid Jacob. It seemed as if he had dosed off waiting for me to awake. I looked at him, I missed him so much.

His smile, his laugh, every word he says, I will now treasure. After dieing, more then once. You start to not take things for granted. But he looked so tired, I better let him sleep awhile longer..

How long had I been asleep for? But i guess if it was for days, it would probaly count as a coma..
A small movement beside me caught me attention. I looked over at Jacob, whose head was half raised.

"Nessie?" He asked hopefully. It sounded as if i had given him quite alot of false alarms..

"Jacob!" I smiled, leaning forward to hug him. He held me tight, secure.

"I love you so much Renesmee, you have no Idea how crazy i have been for the past three days!"

He let go of me for a moment,

"Three days!" I excalimed. It surprised me. I hadn't expected i'd sleep that long..But like i said, coma's are wonders..

He lightly pushed me back down to lay. "Carlisle says it's best you stay laying down" He moved closer, sitting infront of me.

"Jacob" I breathed "How - They say once you've changed you can't turn back I don't understand.."

He looked at me thoughfully for a moment. "We don't know yet.. But it's nice, right?" He smiled.

I smiled back "Yes, It is nice not having to concentrate on not killing you...."

He chucked "Gee, thanks."

"Renesmee!" My mother's voice spoke amazed from the doorway. A smile and a look of relife spread across her face. I was so glad to see her..again.

She was at my side imedietly, hugging me. "Oh Renesmee!"

I smiled, "I'm fine Mom"

My father, Alice and Rosalie were in the room now aswell. Rosalie sat at the end of my bed next to Jacob, My father was behind my mother and Alice stood on the other side of me.

She looked at me "Fine?" She said exhasperated

"Renesmee, You've been in a coma for three days now, and somehow managed to undo being turned in-"

I laughed, because it was finaly nice that she heard me. I don't think i ever had such a doubtful moment then in the unexplainable period of time when I was there, but they didn't know. Although i hadn't completely comfirmed the story...

"What's so funny?" She asked curiously

"Mom, Was there ever a conversation between You, alice, rosalie, emette and esme in the living room; Like a conversation about when Alice got the call that i had..."

I let my sentence trail off.. Each stared at me surprised.

"Y-yes..How did you..?" She asked confused.

I smiled "So I didn't imagine it..."

"Renesmee, what are you talking about?" Rosalie asked intrigued by my knowlodge

Could it really be explained, when I myself had no explaination? There was no rational reason for what had happened, what I had saw. But really nothing in my life is rational.

So instead of telling them, I showed them. My gift really did come in handy, when no amount of words can explain. And each person was just as baffled as I was by the experinence, but it was somthing we would never have an answer to.
The rest of my family had joined us now. Carlisle came over to me

"How are you feeling, dear?"

I thought for a moment "..Confused"

Him and a few others laughed " Aren't we all.. But physicaly?"

"I feel fine, I'm just a little faint.." I looked over, annoyed at the machine. "Now that i'm stable can you?"

He smiled "Of course, But if your feeling ill at all"

"I'll be sure to say somthing"

He unhooked me from the machine and rolled it out of the room.

"Your finaly up!" Emette said from across the room "Thank god, because that heart monitor was starting to distrupt my sunday night football" He jeered

I rolled my eyes and laughed "Sorry to have disturbed you and your football"

Jasper walked over eyeing me curiously "Seriously Renesmee, Your really making me rethink everything i thought i knew about newborns and Vampires..."

"Oh, Jazz."Alice laughed.

Suddenly my father sighed "No, Jacob"

I turned my attention to him, who was glaring at my father.

"Come on Edward - Just a few hours, what harm could it do?"

"..Lots and Lots apparently.."

I didn't bother trying to figure out what their conversation was about. Instead i But as soon as i would rather get ready. I carefully got out of bed. But when I stepped out, i wasn't dressed in my pajaymas as i expected. Instead I was dressed in some sort of sparkley coctail dress with glitter and- ugh. I closed my eyes and spoke through my clenched teeth.

"Alice. Just because i am unconcious doesn't mean you can play human dress-up doll.."

I turned around, and she glared at me. Then smiled "Please. I thought it looked great on you!"

I sighed,

She rolled her eyes "Come on Renesmee, I'll get you some clothes that you wont mind.."

I smiled "Thanks Alice"

I followed her out of the room, waiting at the edge of the hall. "Here!" She said handing some clothes to me,

"You should like theese plain and simple"

"No glitter - no Alice twists?"

"Nothing at all of that sort" She promised with a reasuring nod.

"Thank you"

I stepped into the washroom. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and did everything else I could to try to not look almost dead. I slipped on the skinny Jeans and T-shirt Alice lent me and mae my way back into the room. I made the bed and folded the other clothing leaving the place nice and tidy.

I ventured out in the living where my parents were.

"..I don't know Jacob it seems like everytime you take her for the day, she almost dies..." My father stated

He snorted "Please. Im careful with her, I can't control what the rest of the world does!"

I slowly walked down the stairs, not wanting to distrupt the conversation. Jacob looked at me

"Nessie, Please tell them your safe with me" He said gesturing to my dissaproving parents.

I shrugged "It's true, really I'm the problem." I smiled at the last bit.

"Renesmee, you are hardly the problem. " My mother said, in defense.

"I was the one who left the house when Jacob told me to stay there, twice. And I was the one who snuck off to Italy.. Really, I see a pattern here.."

My father sighed. "Fine then, in that case." He turned to me "Renesmee, you are too dangerous for Jacob"

I started to laugh along with the others.

"Fine Jacob. But if she comes back, merely bruised." My mother warned him

"Ya. ya. It's my head" He said brushing my mother's comment aside. "Come on Nessie"

He took my hand, pulling me out with him. I waved by to my parents and followed along after him. We got into his car and drove off.

He smiled "Billy will be happy to see you"

"You mean see me like this" I corrected

He shrugged. The drive to La Push seemed so much longer then usual, but then again i just changed from vampire back to normal. I dont think things are going to be very usual to me..ever.

We got to Jacob's house, I stepped out of the car, closing the door. He was already at my side.

"Are you okay to walk? or should i carry you.."

"I can walk" Insisted

He put his arm around my waist, making sure i didn't fall. Of course i don't blame him for being overprotective. He probaly has every right to with all the close calls I run into. We walked into the house. I carefully slipped my shoes off as Jacob led me into the living room.

"Renesmee!" Billy exclaimed, rolling towards me. "It's so nice to see you!"

I gave him a hug, "You too billy!"

"How are you holding up?" He asked concerned.

I shrugged and smiled "I've had better days"

Suddenly there was A knock at the door. Jacob left to go answer it. There stood Seth, Quil and Embry.

"Hey guys!" Jacob greeted

Seth paused for a moment "You sound too giddy.. Where's Renesmee?" He peered his head through the door, spotting me. I waved Hello and smiled. He ran through, hugging me.

"Renesmee! Your back to normal!" He smiled

"Yep. Same old Renesmee"

"..Well if your done attacking my girlfriend.." Jacob mused "What did you come by for?"

"To see if there was any news, But aparently we missed out on alot!"

I heard my phone ring inside my pocket. I carefully slipped it out, looking at the caller ID.

Long distance? Then i noticed the number. Aro was calling me. I looked up at them

"Hold on a minute, I think this is important."

Jacob shot me a look "Nessie?"

I smiled "Nothing to worry about"

I walked around the corner for a minute, for privacy. I knew Jacob wouldn't be very greatful towards them calling me.

"Renesmee?" He asked

"Aro, so nice to hear from you again. Did you need somthing?"

"Well, I was informed that there was a ... Complication with you"

"Ah, I assumed it would make it to Italy sooner or later. But yes, the oddest thing did happen.."

"Well are you alright?"

I laughed "Define alright.."

"Renesmee, is there somthing I should be informed of?" He asked warily.

"I don't know quite how to explain it, but I am back to normal"

He was silent for a moment "By back to normal - do you mean..?"

"Yes, I am half human again. Although it was quite a remarkable-"

I heard a loud gasp on the other side of the call "Impossible.." He said, his voice barley audible."Renesmee, I think we will be paying a little visit soon."

Panic ran through me. They couldn't come here.. I just didn't want to imagine what would insue with all that has happened.

"Is that really nessacary?" I asked quickly, hesistating. "I mean, I will be back in one years time as promised.."

"Renesmee, If what you have just explained to me is true. Then this means a whole new era for Vampire exsistance. You used to be part of the Volturi - you know any disturbance, Positive or Negative, we have to investigate."

I sighed "Only if you think it is absolutely nessacary"

"I do. We should be there in two days time, Will you be availible?"

"Of course, but I ask to you inform the rest of my family. I suggest calling Carlisle. He may be more open to your coming then my Father.."

"Of course, Bye for now"

I hung up the phone, slipping it back in my pocket. I decided the best way to go about this was to keep it from Jacob, diverting a future disaster. I walked back out to the living room, recollecting myself.

"Who was that?" He asked curiously.

I made sure not to hesistate with my answer, he usualy see's through me when i lie. So now i would have to not only convince him, but myself as well.

I smiled "Oh, Just my mother making sure I'm alright, you know how protective she is"

He snorted "Her doubt in me is kind of insulting.."

I laughed "I'm sure she'll get over it... eventualy"
