Ch 4

Bella POV
After about 4 hours of lifelessly laying on the floor, I decided to get up and do something, anything.
I went to the bathroom to go take a shower. My reflection was........well........just horrible. I barely recognized myself. My eyes were red and puffy. My nose was flaming red. My face was so red, I wasn't olive skinned anymore. I was a little bit redder than a normal Fork's face color.
Also, there was a little, purple circle beneath my eye. Where I had hit my face when I fell. But, it didn't hurt because my heart had hurt worse. Alot.
When I got in the shower, I didn't even flinch to the cold water, or change it to heat. I was just in a zombie like stage.
When I was done, I went downstairs and did the very few dishes of Charlie's breakfast. Then, to distract myself, I cleaned the whole house, literally. I swept the floors, dusted, cleaned the windows, mirrors, bathroom. Did all the laundry. I even organized my room and the living room, which had Sports Illustrated magazines piled high on the coffee tables.
I had cleaned so much, that I had almost forgotten to cook Charlie dinner before he got home. I made Steak and Potatoes. Charlie noticed something was off about me but, he didn't ask. 'Good,' I thought, 'If he would've asked, he wouldn't have gotten a response.
I retired early for the night. At 8:00pm. Even though I had rested awhile this morning, I was getting tired.
"Come on, Bells," Charlie pleaded, "It's a Saturday night. You should be out with friends."
"It's okay Ch...Dad. I really am tired. Good night." I answered. And before Charlie could say another word, I bolted up the stairs, fast for me, and surprised I hadn't tripped yet. 'So much for that' I thought, as I tripped on the top stair.
"Bells? Bella? Are you okay?" Charlie worried. I had just hit my head, it couldn't be that bad, right. I was wrong.
"Oh my god Bella, I have to get you to the hospital." Charlie said. He was already picking my up. It was a hassle for him. "I can walk." I mouthed, since nothing came out of my mouth. Charlie sat me in his cruiser, ran back in the house, and came out with his keys and a towel.
"Hold this to your head." Charlie commanded. I just put it to my head. It was soft, like a pillow. And his engine had a rhythmic purr to it. That lulled my to sleep.

9.: Call him Carlisle, but be sure to pronounce the 's'. When he corrects you, give him a weird look and tell him the 'q' is silent.
8.: Ask if blondes really do have more fun.
7.: Inquire as to what he actually does during his night shift at the hospital, with all those pretty nurses in ER.
6.: Instead of telling him to "get lost" in an argument, tell him to swim to France.
5.: When he annoys you, respond with "times have changed, old man".
4.: Ask him what type of superhuman power compassion is - what does he do in a fight? Love thy enemy to death?
3.: Leap out from behind the desk in his study when he isn't expecting it and spray him with holy water.
2.: Call him Doctor McSteamy or McDreamy.
and finally......
1.: Run around the Emergency Room screaming "I've been bitten! I've been bitten!".
