To me...the best character is Bella. I know people give her alot of crap for the whole Edward/Jacob thing...but if you can get past that...She accepts everyone for who they are, vampire or werewolf, she doesnt judge, she was willing to give her life for someone that most of the world would consider evil, she constantly worries over family and friends, she took a stand against almost everyone when she was pregnant to protect her unborn child.
I like that she was super clumsy and had a low opinion of herself...it made her more relatable.
