Guys, they're into wrestling and man stuff. They don't like romantic things like Twilight.

Guys are into manly things like looking at Megan Fox and wrestling... If they were caught reading Twilight, they'd be called names. Though, I know a few guys who like Twilight... man, they're fun to talk to. Only one of them is gay. This missionary from my church likes Twilight, the most popular guy in my grade likes Twilight, this dude in my math class likes Twilight, some gay dude in my P.E. likes it... though, it's really weird when he says Jacob's abs are hot... Anyway, I think it's just a manly pride thing.

I know a lot of girls who hate it too.

Because guys don't generally like romance novels. Like girls don't generally like action novels, although some do.

I think most guys hate it because it's full of gushy romance. I also think they don't want to be ridiculed in front of their friends if they admit to reading it. My brother has a friend who read it, and he was made fun of. I honestly think guys are more self-conscious when it comes that sort of thing, especially if most of the fans are made up of teen girls. Most guys read books to boost their ego and show off the masculinity, and I don't think Twilight would be the best book to do that, haha.

That's my theory.

My Brother Likes It And He's in 6th grade, But Most Dont Like It Not Cos The Romance But Cos They Are Jealous Of Taylor's Nice Personality And Amazingly Hot body. I HTink it Lowers Their self-Asteme. Lol

I think half the guys 'hate' Twilight because they know they can never live up to the image of Edward or Jacob. (and I'm not talking about looks)...the love, the romanace, the protection, the honesty.
And the other half really do love Twilight but its not 'manly' to admit it!

because inside they honestly luv it but think that they'd get made fun of.

i have guy friends who liked the movies but just aren't fans of reading in general, which is probably why they wont read a book if they can just see it at the movies
