Why do we get so obsessed with Twilight????

Because it has vampires, werewolves and it's so cool. The next reason, it's TWILIGHT!!

it was different... there's a love story in it that fits in our generation

I think we tend to simply love the plot of the story .
And in our case...The characters whom without them you wouldn't like twilight as much.
I am sort of mad now,because we are exaggerating how much we are obsessing over twilight,which might cause the people near us,to start calling us annoying-obsessive-fangirls,which I personally hate!.
We drool to much over who is hotter(which really is getting very,very sick).
and the fact that you love so much edward cullen,he is the best!,he is hott!!11!!11!,he sparkles and much more.*rolls eyes*
and now we are being called the most annoying fangirls at the moment,which really doesn't please me.
I liked twilight because it was different,I liked the CONCEPT eventhough the CONTENT was poorly written,not allowing to much expressivity,and creativity.

Cuz its like so....AWSOME!! And i dont no. when about my whole skool started reading the whole series in week i started reading them!!!! they r pretty cool and the vamps and werewolves make it the BEST BOOK EVER!!

In my opinion i loved the books so much because he is what ALMOST every girl will want someone that cares about you so much and so handsome and different. I loved how sweet he is with her and protective of her, and finding that special someone so early in life and have him forever!

The idea of hot Vampires and werewolves is the new Teenage thing.

It's awesome!Vampires,werewolves.Action,romance.It's well written.You really feel like you're there,or at least I do.And there are more reasons,too.

We love it because not only is it a wonderful love story it has other characters in it that u fall in love with. His family, her dad, the wolf pack...Bella and Edward's relationship is amazing but u kind of start to love the other relationships that are introduced to u the story. I've read other romance novels and this is one of my favs.

Because it's such a unique story, and it's okay it's good thing to be obsessed with it.

i think its to do with the love story cause most girl relate to it you know or actually want it...and its just awsome anyway especially with the guys in the movie!!:)

I honestly don't know why people are obsessed with the books. I like them, but I don't understand why they are so popular and people are so, so obsessed with them.

I really don't know. I mean its a good book and everything and I am a big fan of twilight but not as much as some people on here. Some people get so offended when you say something bad about Twilight that it is ridiculous. I mean come on everyone has their own opinion! I do love the Twilight series but they are not the best books ever.

No plot.
Characters suck [no pun intended.
Writing is amateur.
Werewolves aren't even real. Just retarded shape shifters.
And what kind of frakking vampires sparkle? They're more like superhuman mosquitoes.
Mentally, there's something wrong with all the characters. Or at least the three main ones.

I think we get obsessed because people relate to the "unwanted, not so beautiful" Bella Swan. People's lives are average and this was just something that a bunch of love deprived teens [and moms] needed. I don't know why this series of all the books out there for people to get so obsessed about, but I guess it was just a matter of time.

It could also easily be the simplicity of the story. I mean, it can't be because of the "perfect" and overprotected Edward, the whiny Bella with no common sense, or manipulative [and whiny] Jacob.

We get so obsessed with Twilight, and the Twilight saga because it's one of the best movies ever!!!!! ok so Kindof, but the real reason is, that we like the movie, and watching it over and over helps us relive out favorite parts...
