If you mean better looking, I saw the movie before I read the book, so I imagine Rob Pattinson as Edward.
If you mean better as more romantic, maybe, I mean, the book's longer so there are more romantic scenes, but there are some "mood swings" scenes aswell.
I think I like the movie version better, but like I said, I saw the movie before I read the book, so...
I think Edward from the book was waaay better. When I read the book I pictured him as Hayden Christensen- so when I saw the movie, I was very disappointed with Edward's appearance and personality. But I think Edward isn't a good character anyway-cuz all he does is encourage girls to be dependent creatures who fall apart if their man isn't around, and that's just sad. Jacob's better-Bella's relationship with Jacob was more of a partnership, rather than the dictatorship that it was with Edward.
