Can vampires see their reflection?

In the beginning of New Moon Edward couldn't see his reflection with Bella, but in Breaking Dawn part 1 Alice and Rosalie can see themselves then in Part 2 Edward and vampire Bella could see themselves in the mirror. Is this because in New Moon it was just Bella's dream or..?

Yes, it's because it's a dream. Her subconscious must have taken the stereotypical vampire trait even though she might have already known that they did show in mirrors.
