that's correct. The black SUV volvo will be in Eclipse as well. Summit tried to be sneaksters about it too. "Yes, the same car will be used in Eclipse". I am still rather upset that the C30 will not be used, and that Edward's iconic "SILVER" volvo will no longer be silver. I was truly upset about that. And I rarely get upset over the minor changes. but this one is just huge in a way that "shiny silver volvo owner" you know?
yeah it does sucks, at first i though it waz only 4 NM cauz they r trying to show a dark side of Edward & everything and jst to make it abit more dramatic bt than i loved silver volvo & miss it a alot.First they beat Edward up by Volturi like a table cloth than they change the volvo i dnt noe wats comin next bt 4rm the sounds of it...........i dnt like it man ;nah ah.:(
Yea I know it's terrible right? But the director took artistic liberty and I think that that's great. It adds a different feel and shows us how other ppl percieve the story. I'll admit that at first the minor changes, the car included, bugged me but I just learned to get over it and enjoy the movies for what they are. And based on what I've seen of the New Moon trailer it looks to be a pretty awesome movie indeed. So basically what I'm trying to say is don't sweat the small stuff you'll only ruin the movie for yoursel if you keep nitpicking it. Plus in my opinion I think that the car is pretty cute lol. =)

i loooooov black SUV's but itz jst tat with Edward comes a shiny silver volvo & i also loved the trailer of NM bt its jst tat ts difficult to imagne Edard without silvr volvo
i totally agree because edward does come with a shiny silver volve jajajaj but i am going to be sincere here when i first read the book i imagined a different volve not the one he drives in Twilight when i first saw it in the movie i was like thats my grandpas car LOL i own a volvo and i bought it cuz thats the one i imagined that belonged to edward jajaja and actually my granpa does own the same car as edward (he works for VOLVO my granpa : ) <3 bday present)
I don't really mind the change of cars, but yeah it was kind of a downer cause his car is supposed to silver. I just can't wait if the making Breaking Dawn to see the Aston Martin Vanquish. The car that Edward gives Jacob to runaway. That's my all time favourite car so I can't wait to see it.

Bunch of thanks for all those comments!! I know no nit picking on the finner details, although Edward EQUALS aka "shiny volvo owner" so it's kind of part of his personality, so it's no small matter. Although, I'll give it a go, wayyyyy too excited for the movie!!!
I WAS KINDA BOTHERED BY IT BEING BLACK. BUT I WAS THROWN OFF A BIT BY IT BEING AN SUV. NOT THAT THE SUV WON'T GO FAST BUT A CAR WOULD BE FASTER. AND ISN'T THAT WHAT EDWARD AND THE REST OF THE CULLENS LIKE...FAST CARS!?
