Why did Catherine Hardwicke get fired?

First off, did she even get fired? If so, then, why?

Supposedly Catherine got fired from the Twilight movie. Or something like that. Point is, she got fired, and I just wanna know if it's true and why she got fired if this is true..

She wasnt fired...she choose not to continue due to being involved with other projects.

She wasn't fired, it was up to her if she wanted to continue or not. She declined on New moon because they wanted to release it within a year and she didn't want to rush it.
