She was rebelling. Edward made a promise he couldn't possibly keep. He promised that it would be as if he never existed.
Bella found herself constantly being reminded of him by pretty much everything she looked at. The first time she heard his voice was the last straw. She was upset that he broke his impossible promise, so she began breaking the promise she made to him, which was to not do anything too w reckless.
Hearing Edward only added fuel to the flame.
(In the books, I don't thing she saw him, it was only a voice. The movie added a visual for a cinematic effect)
Yes, it actually has nothing to do with Jacob at all. She chooses him to be her friend because he can fix the bikes and then she realizes that he will let her be young and crazy, so she keeps hanging out with him. Everything she does in New Moon is for Edward, or because of him.
definitely YES!!!!!! she adores him, she can't accept that he's gone and he will never come back and so she does anything reckless she can consider, only because she wants to see him for a while again!!!!!!! i believe it's too risky, but isn't it a bit sweet and romantic, too?????????<3
