I think that he would if she was really acting THAT badly. I think it would make sense because of all the cullen's backgrounds and what-not and You've got a point about holding on to morals and beliefs. So I think that he might if she were really missbehaving. I do however agree aswell with whoever said that Bella might.

I don't think so. I don't think he would want to harm her in anyway way. Even if she did something pretty bad. It might have to be extremely bad if he would punish her like that. In my opinion.

Hmm that's a hard question to answer... maybe, maybe-not. I think it would depend on what she did and Bella's opinion on the matter.
But why is everyone assuming Renesmee will always be this perfect child? I mean growing up as a half vampire has got to be pretty hard and as she grows up she might hit rebellious stages. I mean she maentally matures faster than she does physically, so what if she hit her rebellious, bratty, teenage mentality when she looks like 7? I mean no child could be good ALL the time! And a half-vampire just seems like they would find different ways to act out than your narmal child.

I don't think he would, but he'd let Bella spank her. He doesn't seem like he could ever hurt her even if she did steal one too many cookies. But I think he would agree with Bella if she spanked her, he just couldn't do it himself. That's just my opinion though.

No! Edward was taught well. He would never to anything harsh to teach manners. Renessmee is a good child anyway. She would never do anything to deserve anything negative.

I'm not sure how much of an impact any spanking would have. Isn't her skin as hard and impenetrable as a full vampire's? Or they suspect it might be, anyway, but don't want to test it. If it is, I don't think she'd even feel a spanking.

Also, since Bella would have grown up in a time when a lot of people connect all corporal punishment with child abuse, she might refuse to let anyone spank her daughter.
