Why Bella, Jessica and Angela name between them as "guys"?

i think americans say that? because. im from england and in like loads of the american movies they do the 'guys' thing :)

well i'm not sure (since i'm not from the usa) but i think it got very common for them to say guys for any crowd of ppl.. for them is 'hi, guys' just as saying 'hi,ppl'

Heaps of people do it.. like im from Australia and we say Hi Guys!! like we use it as both guys as in boys and guys as in people.. like your not really gunna walk up to some one and say hi people it sounds kinda weird haha...

I live in the UK and I think we do it also - my friends and I do it, people said it at school in groups... perhaps it was first Americans and then we picked it up.

There was an episode of Full House in which one of the girls was hanging out with "cool kids" who called each other "guys". When the Olson girl said something like "hey, we aren't guys", the other girls gave her a look and then continued with their conversation. So, I'm guessing it's relatively recent slang that may not have migrated to your country.

im from canada and we say hey guys too we dont say hey girls or hey ppl it just sounds weird
