i really like jake but sometimes he irritates me.why does he go after her in eclipse when she clearly chose edward over him in new moon when she left jake to save him.dont mistake me.team jacob and taylor
Because his main goal in life was to keep her alive. Her choosing Edward just made him more determined to keep her alive, since Edward could kill her any second. Jacob wanted her to have a life like a normal human being, which she couldn't have with Edward.
because he loved her! and he knew she loved him too - even if not nearly as much as edward- in his head there was always a chance she could change her mind
because he wants to save her life and he loves her. also, because he hates the vampires and no exemption, he doesn't want to give them benefit of the doubt he thinks that all vamps are monsters.
Because he was in love with her. He wanted her to stay alive, so as long as she was alive, he was trying. He knew it was a long shot, but he couldn't just let her become a vampire without putting up a fight.
Im in agreement with most of the comments. I believe the first and foremost reason is because he wanted her to stay alive, he did love her. When Edward wasnt around he did everything he could to keep her safe. Naturally he would try to continue that when he came back. Other than Victoria and the newborns, Edward was the biggest threat to Bellas life so just as Jacob took action to take care of any other threat, he acted to try to save Bella.
He was in love with her. He had to fight for her, he wasn't going to just roll over and die. You can't blame him for that.

i dont blame him but i see a lot of edward fans say that the reason they hate him is that he comes between edwards and bellas relasionship.i just wanted to know what u guys think
i say it irritates me because seeing her withedward clearly hurts him but he doesnt give up.its kind of hard for me when i think about the fun and loving person he was and the person he became during the last chapter of eclipse
