Edward dies in eclipse?

I can't even begin to say how stupid this rumor is or understand how ANYONE can believe this or even consider of believing this, no matter how many times they've read the book or have seen the movies.

Eclipse has been filmed already. Since last October. The cast listing has been out since August, the month they started filming Eclipse. Here is what that website says about "Edward dying":

Edward is killed by Michelle Trachtenberg in the revamped Eclipse, the sequel’s title now referring to Belle’s revenge on Dawn and the rest of the Buffy crew. It’s a crossover time, baby! Don’t tell!!!

First of all, Michelle Trachtenberg wasn't on the cast listing. Second... crossover time? I'm pretty sure if there was a Buffy crossover with Twilight of any kind, we'd be notified immediately.

Honestly. Since the beginning, we've been reassured that no major plotlines will be changed. That means, no Bella running off with Jacob, no Cullens dying and no Edward dying, and lastly, no Buffy universe crossing over to Twilight universe.

Not trying to be rude, but if fans believe this rumor, I question if they are even fans of the books or movies, because believing one website, and a website that is unknown, and freaking out about the "news" is frightening to me. It makes me nervous what other things they read about that they believe.

Edward doesn't die in the books, why in the world would they kill him off in Eclipse? No Edward means no Pattinson. No Pattinson means no money. Honestly. It's ridiculous. I'm just tired of all the rumors being spread and people actually believing them. Then all the sane fans have to try and calm them down and tell them they believed a lie! It's wearing and so exhausting. lol Why must rumors be spread? They are completely pointless.

Yeah, he dies and coincidently another vampire named Edward comes along and takes his place............NO! Of course Edward doesn't die, don't believe all the BS you hear. If Edward really had of died in Eclipse then (A) there'd be a whole lot of pissed off fans and (B) there wouldn't be a BD! Jeez guys let's dust our brains off and attempt to use them aye?

that is one of the stupidest rumors ever. He didn't die in the book of Eclipse so they can't change they story for the movie. He never diesthroughout the series& whoever said that is pretty ignorant xP

Do you know how many times any show or movie have said such things as a main character is going to die (mostly false) except for that one show last week, but never mind I hated that character, anyway Edward is not any more dead than he has been for however many years he's been undead.

This is total bullshit. Why must people go to such trouble just to create a lie? Seriously don't these people have lives? Friends? Families? Tv? Something? What is wrong with some people, they're just trying to be complete morons screwing with all the Edward fans. It's like going around telling little kids that Santa's not real! These people obviously have WAY too much time on their hands due to their lack of friends maybe some people should get off the internet and get their head back into reality instead of spreading vicious, hurtful rumors! I hate this BS!

No.he is alive till Breaking dawn(the way i read) and idk about what happens 4 him in Midnight sun.but i'm telling u that he is not dead.
read the book and u'll see(it's my fav book becuz Edward is there more than Twilight or New moon)

It CAN'T be!!! If Edward dies in Eclipse, its like they've just ruined the whole movie and the excitement of the fans. I saw a couple of articles on the internet about these, all of them are not sure about it if its true. We/I won't allow it.
They should follow the saga.

No he doesn't he asks the Volturi to kill him in New Moon but Bella and Alice stop him. He only asks because he thinks Bella is dead. Anyway he doesn't die in Eclipse because he marries Bella in Breaking Dawn
