You get a medal for a fanpop spot when you contribute a lot of images, videos, picks, etc. Green is the first medal, it means you are "dedicated" to the spot, yellow comes next for a "die-hard" fan and if you really add tons of material to a spot, you can eventually get a red medal which means you're a "fanatic" fan.
