Chair stays the most popular Fanpop couple [6352 fans at the moment] for a long time. Do you think it will ever going to chance?

I've said this before and I'll say this again. I'm going to take the word of a Gossip Girl EXECUTIVE PRODUCER over that of a blogger with nothing better to do with her/his time than hate on fictional characters. People really need to understand that if Josh said that Chuck wouldn’t hurt Blair, then he wouldn’t hurt Blair. CHUCK BASS IS NOT A REAL PERSON. "Chuck is just Ed Westwick reading lines off a piece of paper that some writers wrote him to say. Which is why I’m pretty certain they know more about Chuck then some teenagers online." These aren't my words, but it's nice to see that someone else understands the fact that in the war of Josh Safran vs. Bloggers, the executive producer ALWAYS wins.

^yeah, well what's happened with them was abusive even if the executive producer says it's not, i could write a show, make one of the characters emotionally abuse another and then say that it didn't happen but that wouldn't make it true just because the character isn't real.

Umm, okay? But here's the thing. Chuck never hit or raped or intentionally harmed Blair in any way. When Blair told him to stop, what did he do? He stopped. Chuck punched the glass because he was mad at himself, NOT BLAIR. He wasn't trying to hurt her. So, you have nothing whatsoever to prove the point that Chuck physically abused Blair. And, since an executive producer actually straight-out said that Chuck DIDN'T, I'm pretty sure that he did not abuse her. As far as emotional abuse goes, take a look at any couple on television. Let me explain this to you. TV is NOT reality. Understand? In order to keep a television show interesting, drama has to be created. However, in the case of Chuck and Blair, neither one of them are angels. People just tend to forget everything bad that Blair has done. In any case, both Blair and Chuck have matured a lot this past season. And guess what? They're gonna come back better than ever in season 5. <3

Agreed. People need to come up with better arguments than the abuse bullshit. If the only negative they have to say about Chair is a lie, then I think Chuck and Blair are pretty golden, <3

Mine too! (: And you're right. People who call them abusive have probably only seen the one episode where Chuck punches the glass, if they've even seen that. You can't form an opinion about a couple if you don't know their history.

ugh, that interview caused complete outrage, Chair are quite obviously his favourite couple, but the way Chuck treated Blair was in every way abusive i couldn't care less what the producers say, this article basically sums up my opinion..link

I already read that interview, couple month ago actually,it supposed to be a damaged control but actually backfire for some fans, to be honest I don't think their relationship have reach physically abused, but emotionally, i cant really said the same think, there was to much damaged in that relationship, but I hope the best for them, i know there still many of chair fans like you, and I hope next season will be better :)
