“Yes, again, another weird experience at the very same school where a storm occurred, and now it seems as if something happened yet again. A call to the police from the one of the students or staff was made claiming that their power was off and in the distance they heard screaming and what-not, were thinking it’s a severe burglary, and a perfectly planned one if so.”
“Why…? Is this book so important to them? Why can’t we be left alone for at least a second?” Edith wailed going to sit in the sofa. “Hopefully the police will get them.”
“Doubt it,” I say. “They may not have the book’s power, but they sure do have some kind of power, we need to be careful.”
“Tell us something we don’t know,” Brooklyn muttered. “Bloody idiots won’t leave us alone.”
Zaria scrunched up her brow, “but what can we do to…I don’t know, throw them off.”
I shrugged. “I bet that’s what they want, why don’t we just…you know, leave those idiots alone. Keep going to school, go to the mall, act like normal teenagers, because if we don’t, were suspicious.” I look at them. “Think about it, if those guys aren’t caught, and nobody suspects, they could come again and make up some excuse, they could find the people absent, hiding, hiding from them, then they get them. There older than us, clever than us, and I bet you they had the book once, their the real deal, we can’t make too many mistakes.”
“She’s right,” Iris says, “and we shouldn’t hide from those guys anyway, if they want us, they can come and get us. We’ll be ready, we have the book.”
“One question,” Alex raised his hand. “How did that book get there in the first place? It had to be something, not accident, and I bet it has to do with them, because I have to tell you, we haven’t done many crazy things to get a force like that here, maybe freaks, but not them.”
“Wait a minute,” Mikey paused. “Are you saying you think that this was their number one place, because they knew something loads of years ago happened here?”
Alex nodded. “Makes the most sense, the book was under water, in a crate, remember those few years back, in elementary, when some surfers found that dead body in that same exact ocean, it was a skeleton, and it had a bullet hole in it, remember, and we all joked about ghost stories and what not.”
“Woah, oh no.” Abe said. “That skeleton… belonged to a person…who may have been the previous owner of our book.”
“Makes sense,” Terry said. “Bullet hole, years ago, same ocean as our book, and I bet you, that was one of the reasons we found the book, because the corpse was gone. It’s like…the book was…waiting for us…”
I shook my head. “Okay, stop right there, I believe in everything happening for a reason, but things like this, like the book was it’s own person, fate, no.”
“Fate is exactly like things happening for a reason,” Terry protested.
“Well, I don’t think so, but I do believe we were meant, I said meant right?, to find the book.” I say. “But, do you think were meant to die too?”
“No,” Iris shook her head. “No way, we’ve had to many close calls, and besides, even if we were meant too, I’m not going down without a fight.”
    “Amen sister!” Darren yelled.
“So…?     What’s next?” Zaria looked at us. “Do we go back to the school? To the ocean? Or-”
    “The mall,” I say confidently.
They all look at me like I’m nuts. And I smile at them, deviously.
“Trust me guys, I know what I’m doing.”

This story has been bugging me ever since I brainstormed it yesterday so I though might as well write it:

Alli Hanson sat bored in her Geography class, waiting for her teacher to stop droning on about world war 2 and dismiss the class, so they could finally go home. She started to scan the class trying to guess what everyone was thinking when a white boy caught her eye and she focused in on him trying to see if he would turn around and look at her.

Rick Duncan felt a pair of eyes boring into the back of his head, when the class was dismissed he stood up and turned around to see a black girl staring...

present day

Ron was at his new school ready for PE, everyone else was mucking around, throwing spitballs at each other or still getting changed when the teacher walked in. His large physique intimidating anyone he came into contact with, luckily enough he only came into contact with people when he was drunk at the local pub, Ron had discovered that by hacking into the police records last week and searching for any of his teachers, when he came across this one with 8 offences for beating up 5 policemen and 3 civilians simply, as he stated it, for the fun of it. Anyway back to our story, the teacher,...

Horror: Ghost Story

Chapter Eleven

NOT REALIZING WHAT I HAD WHEN YOU WERE WITH ME. -Emma

I won't even describe how traveling through realms made me feel. I felt queasy and disoriented. I am pretty sure they had to knock me out to keep me from screaming because after a while all I saw where rainbow colored stars and complete blackness. I hated it. The only thing that kept me from killing them both was the thought of Zoe. If it was tue that thy had her here then I couldn't wait to see her. We may fight but I still love her.
We landed in what seemed like a penthouse. The manila...

Chapter 22
    Dead end or a breakthrough?
“What?” Cadence asked for the umpteenth time, and I gave him an exasperated look.
“Again?    Seriously Cadence, your supposed to be the one actually paying attention?” I say, frustrated.
Cadence flashed me a wicked smile. “Age is a number cupcake, I’m not that boring.”
I surpressed my smile as I told him and Jess everything that happened again.
“So,” Jess said after I was finished...

Look through the one-way glass,
The other side's covered in dust
You can only see ahead
But not back again...

There's no time for disappointment
No time to look back and cry
We gotta go ahead and see to the future
Cuz there's so much more to be done then

Look to the future
We will see ahead
Nobody's gonna wipe up the other side
You can't look back now, just see to the future

The future's so much more important than the past
So why weep over the memories?
Just plan ahead for the future
And you will find it's worth it

The one-way glass
Is a wonderful thing to have
And it helps you to stop worrying over your troubles,
To go ahead and shoot for the future

We will not look back to the past
Cuz it's covered in dust, no one can see through
Just go ahead and look to the future
The clear future that everyone sees

Chapter 3: You Just Couldn't Resist

Faye, Marco, and Trina, Faye's mom, were all situated on the couch. Faye had arrived 30 minutes ago to find her mom and Marco making out in the kitchen. They didn't even acknowledged that Faye had strolled in until she said, "Hey, I'm home!" When they finally noticed her, Trina said for her to sit on the couch. They had something big to tell her.
Faye sat in between Trina and Marco. "Okay, here goes. Marco is your father." Trina said as she shifted uncomfortably. She was a petite woman and didn't take up much space but Faye felt suffocated...
