Generation 1 of Transformers in awesome CGI animation. I'm not sure if this is an actual series in Japan or not. The clip seems to be on an opening intro to it.
A really interesting super robot series I discovered a long time ago, "Brave Exkaiser." You can even consider it one of the ancestors or predecessors to Transformers!
