Authors note: The first chapter skips ahead a couple times. But, in the next chapter it won't. This story probably won't be very long. I've already gotten most of the story figured. I'm going to be focusing on Trio and A Craving For Battle(ACFB) and I'm probably not continuing Choosing sides, sorry ^^' Anyways enjoy - RenneRocks

The Past.
Arrow's POV,
Twenty years ago. Arrow's at time: 7
It was a warm sunny day. Not a single cloud in the sky. Which was rare. Giggles and the sound of childrens laughter filled the warm air.
I sat alone at the small park where the giggles and laughter came from, choosing to draw in my fat drawing book instead of playing with the other children. Each page was a different colour, some had different patterns like flowers or something girly.
Without even noticing nor caring, a ball sailed over my head, landing next to me.
"Hey Curls! Can I have my ball back?" A young boy asked. "Pardon? What ball?" I asked, looking up at the boy.
The boy looked to be about four or five, with dimples on his sunburnt cheeks. His hair was short and sandy brown, with big blue-green eyes. He looked like a troublemaker. Something I'd learn and get annoyed at later in life.
"Uh that one," he pointed next to me. There at my side, sat a small blue ball. "Sure." I said picking it up, carefully I sat up and handed it to him.
The boy face me a big grin, showing off his dimples and missing teeth."Thanks Curls."He said. "Oh, by the way I'm -" "Clyde? Where'd you go?" Another boys voice called.
'Clyde' looked over his shoulder,"Over here Rus." he replied, turning his attention back to me,"Clyde's my name. What's yours?" he asked, completely forgetting about this 'Rus' person.
"I'm Arrow." I responded. A boy with dark brown, almost black hair walked over. "Clyde, don't wander off like that." The boy sighed.
"Sorry Rus, I just went to go and find my ball." Clyde smiled innocently, dimples showing. Obviously something he did to get away with things.
Rus frowned, turning his attention on me,"Hi there, I'm Russell." he introduced himself. "Hey Russell, I'm Arrow." I smiled.
Russell nodded, smiling back brightly,"Nice to meet you Arrow." "Nice too meet both of you." I said.
Clyde tossed his ball in the air, catching it and doing it again, before the wind snagged it."Aww!" He whined and chased after it.
Russell sighed, I got up, putting my crayons away as well as my drawing book into my small green army bag. "C'on, I'll help you find him again." I smiled.
Russell smiled back before nodding, "OK, thanks." he smiled before both of us ran after Clyde. Not caring that we had just met eachother and we had already started a friendship. But, that was how it was for children. Friendships were made easily, without struggles.
Five years afterwards. Arrow's age at time: 11
I was now twelve years old. Russell was eleven, and Clyde was nine. The three of us were the best of friends. We were like a family to be honest.
"Arrow have you seen Rus?" Clyde asked, poking my shoulder. "Hmm? Oh, no I haven't, sorry." I answered, which was a lie.
"Oh, okay, thanks anyways." Clyde sighed and ran off. I was staying over for dinner at Russell and Clyde's house. My parents were working late tonight, like always.
Lightly tugging on my charm bracelet, I said softly,"You can come out now." the closet door of the spare room opened. Russell walked out, carrying a large box.
"Thanks. I found a box full of stuff." Russell said, he was very tall for his age, and still getting taller. "Stuff?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, stuff. Mostly old books, toys and photos, even an old camra."
"Awesome! What kind of books?" Curiousity snagged me.
Russell shrugged,"Mystery,SI-FI and some other kinds," he placed the box down and opened it,"I'd take what you'd want before Clyde comes back."
"Don't worry I will."I said, gazing at what sat at the top of the box. A few photographs and a book titled,'Tiger Eyes'. "Tiger eyes…"I murmured picking the book up.
The book wasn't very thick. At least two hundred pages or less.
The sound of a door slamming down stairs caused both Russell and I to jump. "That's defiantly not Clyde."Russell sighed, standing up. He had a worried look in his eyes, something was up.
Standing up, I placed the book down,"Maybe your guy's dad had a rough day at work…?"I suggested.
"Probably…"Russell shrugged and walked into the upstairs hallway, with me following close behind.
Clyde bounded over, looking confused. "What's wrong Cly?"Russell asked, noticing his brother's confused expression. "There's a police car at Arrow's house…"Clyde responded, turning his gaze onto me. My house was across the street from Clyde and Russell's house.
"Pardon? There's police at my house?"Confusion hit me hard. Why on Earth would police be at my house?
"Gwen, is Arrow here?"The boys father; Jack, asked loudly from down stairs.
My blood went cold. The blood drained from my face.
Clyde and Russell both gave me worried looks. Though both didn't speak a word.
"Yes Jack she's up stairs with the boys."Gwen responded. "Good…Something happened earlier today to her mother."Jack said, worry filling his voice.
I couldn't take it any longer, breaking out of the trance I was in, I ran down the stairs. "What happened?!"I demanded.
Gwen and Jack looked at me in shook. "Oh sweetheart…"Gwen said softly, smiling weakly. "Arrow…There was an accident at your mothers work. She's fine though."Jack said, answering my question.
"Accident…? What kind of accident?"My voice broke, and cracked.
"There was a shooting at her work. She got shot trying to help a mother get her child,"Jack added. He was the only one answering my questions. "Like I said, she is fine. She is headed to a full recovery."
Figures that something like that would happen to someone trying to do something good. But my mother? She didn't deserve it
I could only imagine how my father was dealing with all of this.
Knowing him, he would have probably put a brave face on until he got to see my mother, than he would break down sobbing. Wonderful...
