I was still running and smiling. The clearing was near and I was screaming, "Lucy! Rob! You two love birds, c'mon! Lets go have some fun!!!" But there was no answer. I stopped and have a weird expression on my face when I came to the beach. There was Lucy's picnic basket, and a few crumbs, but no Lucy. "Um, guys?" I called. Nothing. "OK, quit playing! I know your here!" I was looking behind every tree, under every stone. "Jokes over! Come out!" I demanded. Still no reply. I felt a burning feeling in my stomach and eagerly ran back to camp. I stopped every camper I met along the way and asked them all the same question; "Have you seen Lucy? My sister? Anywhere?" No one knew. Tears formed in my eyes. "LUCY! ROB! WHERE ARE YOU!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. My cries echoed threw camp, but no response. I nearly smashed the door of the cabin down and plopped onto my bed, water streaming from my eyes. Leshawna saw me through the open door and sat next to me. "What up girl? What's with the sad face?" She put her arm on my shoulder. "My sister Lucy is gone!" I covered my face with my hands and cried. Leshawna sighed and said, "I heard."

Izzy jumped through the cabin window and hopped onto my bottom bunk. "SOFIE!" She hollered. I stared at her blankly. "Ever heard of a door?" She didn't hear me. "I FOUND LUCY! She's with Rob on the turn of the lake!" She exclaimed. A huge smiled spread from ear to ear on my face and I squealed with happiness. I leaped out of the room and left Leshawna and Izzy behind. *pant* "Lucy! *pant* "I'm coming!" I huffed with my legs pumping. I came to an abrupt halt when I saw them. They were looking at a swing. I jogged over to Lucy and squeezed her. "OH LUCY I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONE!!!" I shrieked. She raised an eyebrow at me. "We came here right after our picnic." Rob said. I gasped out of breath and smiled. "So, you found a swing?" I asked touching it. Lucy smiled. "Two! Right over there!" I looked behind her and saw a tire swing opposite of the first. "Cool! Be right back!!" And I dashed away. "But you just found us!" Rob screamed. "I know! Hold on!" I ran to the boys side of the Bass cabin and slammed the door open. "WHO WANTS TO RIDE A TIRE SWING!?" I screamed. They all froze and looked at me with scared faces... or shocked faces. It was about 50-50.

I was pumping back to the swings with Duncan's hand in mine while he tried his hardest to keep up with me. "I have my swing buddy!" I yelled to Lucy and Rob. They exchanged glances and walked away. I frowned and lead Duncan to one tire swing. "Sit here." I said and pushed him toward it. He stumbled and glared at me for shoving him. "GET ON!!" I demanded smiling. He rolled his eyes but got on as I climbed on the other one. I began pumping my legs back on forth to make the swing move. I told Duncan to do the same. Soon we were going at the same speed at the same time. "Hey! Look! Were double dating!" I said pointing to his swing. "What?" He asked. "When you swing at the same time it's called double dating." I told him. He rolled his eyes again. "What ever you say." I giggled, then looked at Duncan. He was laughing and said, "Oh, yeah were dating." I laughed too an played along. Our swings were separating. "No, were having our differences." I smiled. Soon we were opposite in time. "Oh, we are SO getting a devorce!" Duncan said. A little while later we were almost back on track. "Wait, we're meeting at the super market!" I called. "Oh yeah, we're talking." He said. "Yup, we're debating the differences between canalope and honeydew." He looked at me and cracked up. "WHAT!?" I smiled and laughed too. "I have no idea!" We giggled and swung on our tires until the day came and gone. I looked at the pink and red sky over the lake. "Duncan, we gotta go." I said. "OK." He got off then helped me climb down too. I waved to him and skipped into my cabin. I lay face to the ceiling and my bed and smiled dreamily.
