They're all hand drawn... If I catch anyone colouring over them, I will not be impressed.
it takes hard work but by drawing your own you feel great after you see the outcome.

If you edit another person's artwork without consent from that person or company, you are infringing on their rights. It doesn't matter whether you've credited them, as long as you weren't granted permission to use it, you're still breaking the law. What you're saying only applies if you haven't edited the work of said person/company.
When are people gonna stop stealing and draw their own characters and be creative? I don't care if it's a color-over if people take the time to edit it. Mostly people only change the colors of their shirt; the rest is the same. You might as well just call it a makeover. :P
And you won't get better at drawing your own unless you try. You won't be able to draw very good from the start, but your not gonna get better unless you practice. When I started drawing my own OC's, they looked like shit; but atleast it's not a shitty Courtney color-over with two seconds of effort put into it. ...No offence :P
And I can still draw now but don't say "oh because you pracdiced."
I won't say I practiced I draw the same way I did when I did colour overs.
