The door opened and then slammed shut.Quick footsteps filled the empty auditorium.Her long light black hail flowed as she took off her coat.Her Grey,inky eyes shone."I can't believe I"m here" she said under her breath.She set her bag down on the bench and got her dance shoes on.Her toe pointed,then flexed backwards.She gave a small smile.This girl's name was Heather.She was 16 and was entering the 40th Annual Dance Mania.She turned on a stereo as the beat of the music filled the room.She used this as her warm-up song.When she was half-way done,the music came to a stop.As Heather looked,she saw short and curly black and teal hair,blackish inky eyes and a dis-approving smile along her blue lips."So" she said"You entering Dance Mania".Heather gave a surprised look"How did you know".The other girl extended her hand "I'm Gwen,Regional Champion 9 years in a row". Heather accepted the hand shake "I"m Heather" she said."I came here to see what girl would come here to practice" Gwen said."Well,me..."Heather said.Gwen smiled."Well,I gotta run,see you at the Competition!"Gwen shouted as she ran out the door.Heather smiled at herself,meeting the 9 year champion,wow!
