Duncan’s POV
    I flopped on the bed, as my eyes filled up with tears. I looked at my pillow. I wanted to sleep.
Duncan: It was a mistake .Please listen to me!
Miranda: NO! I thought you loved me! I had real feelings for you! I loved you! At least now I know the truth.
Duncan: NO! MIRANDA! Let me explain!
Miranda: NO! I let you explain! I’m never talking to you again Duncan Smith!
Duncan: Miranda!
Miranda: I don’t care! We’re over! I wish I never even got interested in you the first time!
Duncan: Miranda! Give me a minute!
*Miranda turns around*
Miranda: What?
Duncan: I didn’t-
Miranda: It doesn’t matter what you say now! It’s not going to make a difference!
Duncan: Miranda please!
*Miranda drops something*
*Duncan runs up to it*
Miranda: And you can keep your stupid SKULL! I HATE YOU!
*Miranda gets in the lameosine and takes off*
Duncan (whispers): Miranda
It was stuck in my head. I miss her. I played with the skull.

I buried my face in my pillow. The voice followed.

I shut my eyes and slept.
Miranda’s POV
I wanted to go back. I regretted what I said. I wanted to tell Duncan I was sorry. I didn’t mean what I said. I can’t believe what I did.

Duncan’s POV
Miranda: Not him, please no, take me, kill me instead-
Stranger: This is my last warning
Miranda: Not him! Please ... have mercy ... Not Duncan! Please – I’ll do anything...
Stranger: If you insist
Miranda: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duncan: I really lost her now
*Duncan looks at her grave and starts to cry*
I woke up. She was in danger. Or she was going to be. I went to face off with Beth.

Miranda’s POV
    I saw Gwen and Bridgette stare at the big screen. I looked up and couldn’t believe my eyes.

Duncan’s POV
    Our first challenge was to clean the poop deck and grab a flag. As I climb, I talk to her,
”Miranda, if you’re watching this, I’m sorry. I love you. I want you back.”

Miranda’s POV
    I looked at the big screen. I reached my hand up to it. I ran away and into the fresh air. I ran to the crew van and hid. We drove to film the final two.

Duncan’s POV
    Our next challenge was to answer questions. “What is Miranda’s favorite color?” Chris asked Beth. “Um… pink?” Chris looked at me,” It’s Green,” I said. Chris looked at Beth. “That’s correct! Next question Duncan, what is Miranda thinking of now?” I felt sweaty. “Um… is it her friends?” Chris pushed a button and we fell. “Oh, and by the way, Miranda’s thinking of YOU.”

Miranda’s POV
    They went through the disaster theme. I hoped Duncan didn’t get hit. I stood on the tree. I saw Chris and Chef pulling a large safe in a rubber catapult. They let go and he was crushed.

Duncan’s POV
    I slammed to the ground. I was slipping. I was losing sight. I saw a blurry figure grab my hand. It pulled. I was gasping for air, my heart beating slower and slower. I held on and squeezed tight. A tear came down onto my hand. The hand let go of its grasp.
Miranda’s POV
    I started to cry. I let go. I saw Duncan fall. I reached my arm down and grabbed him. I gestured to Beth to come and help. She grabbed me and we pulled Duncan to safety. Duncan grasped the cold ground and breathed, slowly. He stopped. I held him up, “Miranda! What are you doing here?” I sighed. “I saved you.” He stroked my hair. He turned his head and pulled me out of the way of plumbing supplies. “If I win the million, I promise I’ll KISS YOU!” he said. I turn and leave.

Duncan’s POV
    She just left. I saw why. Chris and Chef were coming over. “LET’S GO GUYS!” said Chris. We run to the flashy door. When we step in, Bridgette says,” It’s a tie?”
