Duncan closed his eyes,and opened them again,turning them baby blue.He sat up and put his hand on the bite mark. Duncan:Are you okay Courtney? Courtney sat on her knees and bent over putting her head in her hands.She wasn't finished transformning. Courtney:I only have a few more minutes.I shouldn't have done that to you. She crawled into his lap and buried her head in Duncan's chest. He kissed Courtney's head and rubbed her back. Duncan:Don't worry.You'll be fine.I'll still love you.I'll always love you.And maybe I didn't tell you thst soon enough.I wish I hadn't waited till now. Courtney:I won't be the same.I might forget you.I might forget everything.I won't be able to live normally anymore.And now that I've bitten you,you won't be able to live a normal life either.I've ruined everything for you,and now,you'll have to stay away from me before I can hurt you anymore. Duncan:It doesn't matter.We'll do it together.Why not?We'll both support each other.I'm not going to leave you alone. Courtney smiled happiily at him,and he smiled back.Courtney suddenly stretched out on Duncan's lap,and looked up and the sky.She pulled up an unseen necklace in the shape of the sun for Duncan to see. Courtney:Say goodbye to your princess. Courtney lay down and Duncan kissed her for the last time.She held her necklace in the palm of her hand and a white mist slowly poured out.Courtney's body went limp,and her lips seperated from Duncan's. Duncan:C-Court-ney? The white mist spun,and spun,until it was in the shape of Courtney.It was her soul. Courtney:Thank you Duncan.I will forever love you.I'll miss you and,someday,when somone breaks the necklace,I'll see you again. It kissed Duncan,and flew into the silver side of the locket.Duncan unbuckled the gold and silver chain from Courtney's body.He looked at it and clutched it in his palm close to his heart. Duncan:You won't be trapped forever I promise. He tried to break the locket,but then a dark,evil looking mist swirled into Courtney's body. The dark spirit in Courtney stood up and asked: Dark Spirit:Who are you? Duncan:I'm Duncan.I was Courtney's boyfriend.Who are you? Dark Spirit:I'm Audrey(Courtney's name in the french version of TDI,).I'm the dark part of Courtney that was awakened when Gwen bit her.I was also temporarily awakened when you stole food with Courtney.I've been awakened so much,that when Gwen bit Courtney and I,I couldn't stay trapped inside Courtney's soul any longer.I was released,and now the princess you came to know and love will be trapped in the locket until it is broken. Duncan:I was trying to open it,until you came along. Audrey:You can't open it until you miss her so terribly you can't take it anymore.The force of your sadness will break her side open.But that won't happen for a while,considering you look like you don't have much time left before you become enveloped by a dark soul too.Hugo,(Duncan's name in french,)will be coming into your body soon.It would've happened earlier considering all the bad things you've done,but meeting Courtney brought so much joy,love,and peace into your heart,that Hugo slowly melted away.If it wasn't for Courtney,you wouldn't have lasted this long.If it wasn't for you,Courtney would've lasted longer.She might of had a fighting chance. Audrey said with an evil cackle. Duncan:That's not true.IT'S NOT TRUE!I DIDN'T DO THIS TO HER! Duncan screamed almost at the point of crying. Audrey:Maybe not,but you helped.Now,you'll be sent inside the golden side of the locket,while your beloved is on the other side.Good luck. She cackled,and Duncan's eyes slowly turned red.He tried to fight back,but he couldn't the force pulling his soul was too strong for him to conquer.Duncan's soul parted quickly from his body.He tried to go into Courtney's side of the locket,but he wasn't able to get in,he was trapped in the other side,an alternate dimension,where he was screaming Courtney's name.But she,could not hear him. Geoff:Geez,I wonder what's taken them so long. Geoff wondered to Bridgette aloud. Bridgette:I'll go check. Bridgette replied voluntarily. Gwen sat playing with her new Alien Chunks necklace.It seemed she was talking to it. Izzy:Wow!You and Trent ARE both crazy!You should definetly get back together! Gwen stared angrily at Izzy,her eyes a burning red.Then Gwen,or as the dark spirit inside her was called,Are,pounced no Izzy in vengance and bit her.Izzy eyes turned red and she dropped to the ground.Are saw Bridgette,now Nekita,walk out the door and faint,her eyes also red.Then Audrey and Hugo stepped out.Are saw the lover's locket around Audrey's neck.She knew that Gwen's friends were trapped inside the opposite sides of the locket,only to be opened when the other needed each other most.They looked around to see that all of the campers had vanished.Excepting,of course,Lindsay. Lindsay:Omigosh!Did they come out with red contacts already? Then Hugo walked up and sowly bit her.Lindsay's eyes satyed the same,meaning she wasn't so lucky.She fell to the ground,and Are checked her pulse.
