♫Seven am, waking up in the morning, gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs♫
Alejandro pulled up to the school, unaware of the ear boggling sounds that were coming from his radio. He didn't care that it was Friday and he didn't care that it was the first week of school.
Something was on his mind that both mystified and worried him to no end.
It was the first day of 11th grade. Trying to ignore the infatuated stares of the younger kids and some of the seniors, Alejandro looked around for the office. He saw Team Amazon; Courtney and Gwen's hair had gotten longer, and Cody had grown taller (Sierra was still tall enough to cuddle him though) and Heather. Her hair had grown most out of the three girls, almost to the length it was at in TDI. The look on her face was a cheerful one; normally she would look bored or uninterested.
Then, she saw Alejandro. With a smile, she said:
"Hi,"
At first, he thought it wasn't Heather, then he thought she was sick.
She was never that nice, especially to him.
In Home Ec, things got even more freaky.
She had sat next to him, and not once did she insult or argue with him.
She even smiled when she looked at him.
"Um..did Heather lose her memory or something?" Alejandro asked. "Not a clue," Replied Tyler. "Why?"
"She's being so nice to me, and she's always smiling and everything...she's not acting like Heather."
"Oh..that's just the bet she made with Justin. She wanted to prove to him that she could be something other than a bitch."
"What?"
Why would he try to change her like that? Why would she accept a stupid challenge like that?
Alejandro stood up, preparing to go and scream at Justin, when someone knocked into her.
"Hi..again.." Heather looked up, beaming at him.
"Heather, you chica estúpida..you're not acting like yourself.."
"What are you talking about? Of course I am."
"No, you aren't; you haven't insulted a person in days, DAYS! Whatever this bet is for, it's not worth it-"
"Why the hell do you care?"
Both of them put on shocked faces. "I'm..I'm sorry.." The queen bee looked away, blushing slightly.
"Heather..." The Latin teen took her by the hand and led her outside. "You don't have to put on some stupid act to make people like you..."
"No...people keep saying that people like me won't be good for anything. I'm never going to have any friends."
"Heather...you're an amazing woman, whether you're nice or a bitch. I love you the way you are."
"Alejandro.."
Alejandro grabbed Heather's hands and kissed her lips softly. "You're perfect, Heather. Never, ever change."
