This is all entirely made up. The TDI characters belong to Teletoon, Fruits Basket belongs to Natsuki Tayaka, and the Chinese Zodiac belongs to Chinese culture, but the TDI/Furuba mash-up with the characters as Sohmas was 100% a Charm Original Production. Enjoy!
NOTE: There is no character in place of Tohru because I used all the Tohru-like females in TDI in the Juunishi (for a while I was considering Bridgette as Tohru, but I thought it would be better with her as a Zodiac member).

It had been decided that the members of the Juunishi* would live in a seperate place very far away from the main Sohma estate.
All thirteen of them together wasn't the best idea.
Some people are very against incestuous relationships, too. But for Sohmas, almost all of them married within the family.
Since much of the Sohma family moved from Japan into Canada, a lot of things have changed between all of them and how life would play out.
But it's normal to them.
It's normal how Sierra Sohma is in love with Cody Sohma. It's normal how Courtney Sohma can hate Duncan Sohma so violently that she loves him. It's normal how Bridgette Sohma and Geoff Sohma have been dating for 2 years. It's normal how Izzy Sohma annoys Noah Sohma so very much, but Noah isn't so annoyed anymore. It's normal how much Justin Sohma is full of himself. It's normal how Trent Sohma is always simply "trying to calm Courtney down". It's normal that Heather Sohma and Alejandro Sohma "hate each other with a passion", but are obviously madly crushing on each other (with a passion).
And it's normal how Gwen Sohma stays to herself, away from the others because one way or another, they all hate her.
But hating her is normal, too. She's an outsider.
She's the Cat.

Gwen woke up very early that morning. Everyone was still asleep as far as she could tell, although Courtney was missing from her room across the hall, and Duncan seemed to have dissapeared along with her.
Let's hope the police don't have to intervene with their on-foot street chases again, Gwen thought. Courtney always got so violent around Duncan, but the funny thing is that she's violent like that because she admittedly loves him so very much. Watching a fight between Courtney and Duncan was very interesting. Courtney would start off as happy as someone who just got hit by Cupid's goddamn arrow, then start tackling him to the ground and punching him. But one really has to watch out when Duncan gets angry. If Courtney wasn't a girl, Duncan would have her torn to shreds at this point. But even Duncan had enough sense not to hit a girl, (or try to pick a fight with Courtney at the very least) even when his violent side came out. Gwen sighed. Even Duncan treated Gwen as an outsider sometimes. Duncan was one of Gwen's two closest friends. It was him an Bridgette. They were the only two people who would bother talking to her. Stupid cat, stupid cat, stupid cat. That's all she'd hear from anyone else. Adding that on to the extra BS she gets from Heather, Gwen's life is pretty much miserable.

Gwen's thoughts on Heather were interrupted when she saw Bridgette pouring herself a cup of tea already in the kitchen of the Juunishi house.
"Oh, hello, Gwen. You're up early." She smiled, tucking a lock of blonde hair behind her ear as she sipped her hot tea.
"I could say the same to you. Why so early?" Gwen asked the blonde.
"I couldn't sleep. I kept having this nightmare about transforming in the middle of a crowd."
"Again? You haven't had that nightmare since we were little."
"Yes, but ever since Heather's incident, I've been worried."
Recently, Heather had gotten a suprise hug from her little brother Damien in the middle of the school yard. He had forgotten about her Juunishi curse and she had transformed in front of everyone. They all needed to have their memories suppressed. Heather hasn't talked to her brother since, and the incident had the Zodiac members all on a spike of fear about transforming in a crowd.
"I know how you feel. By the way, did you happen to see Courtney or Duncan? They're gone again."
Bridgette sighed, "I'll just alert the cops now."

"DUNCAN, GET BACK HERE!"
"You're INSANE!"
Courtney was chasing Duncan through the streets of town. Again. The tanned girl was very volatile right now. Duncan had refused to help her fix a suprise breakfast for everyone.
"Not over my dead body," the delinquent had told her.
Courtney had started to get sad, then she got violently enraged. Again.
Duncan could run much faster than Courtney could and made it back to the house, thinking he'd lost her. He ran in and locked the door. He turned around and saw Gwen and Bridgette talking.
"That crazy chick just beat me sensless and chased me through town!" he told them. He had his back against the door in case Courtney realized where he went and tried to break through.
It'll take a lot more than that to keep her out, Gwen thought.
You could tell they were in a bad fight. Gwen was suprised that it didn't wake- or break- the whole house. Duncan looked very beaten and he had a bleeding cut on his face. His hair was very messy, and the white hair was showing through the green dye of his mohawk. Just as Gwen was about to get in a word, the door exploded open and shoved Duncan against the wall. The lock wasn't broken, Courtney had kept her key with her.
Dammit, why'd I forget she had a key? Duncan pondered. Courtney hugged him tightly and smiled. She noticed Gwen and Bridgette giving looks.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. I can assure everything is fine now."
Fine? Bridgette and Gwen thought.

Living as one of the Juunishi is definitely a task.

Now, without looking at my question listing all of them, tell me which Zodiac animal Duncan is! You can look up the Sohmas to try and see where I was trying to go with the various descriptions I gave. I'll give you a hint: The Zodiac animal is one of one of my favorite Sohmas in Fruits Basket. First right answer gets a prop!
