No. I've seen almost all their episodes. Tom & Jerry is cool. Just try not to build any of Tom's crazy comtraptions at home.

They are , I have been watching them since I was little , but I noticed just now they are violent , but they never had a negative effect on me.

No, the show would never allow violence since it's a kids show and the creators wouldn't show blood or anything disgusting.
I've watched every episode and it's not, though the show does consist of Tom being killed sometimes but in the next episode he reappears unharmed.

Tom and Jerry isn't violent it's simply a cat trying to catch a mouse it's not like it's showing any blood/gore or anything like that and the show is based for children so I don't think so.

Yes of course, The Tom and Jerry is a violent show, Even that`s funny because their moves, skills, idiotnic sometimes and etc. Tom and Jerry is a show for kids but the parents need to guide them. Tom and Jerr is Rated PG or Parental Guidance!
