Mr. Baldwin: Did you see that Viper?
Jerry: All I saw at the crossing was the accident.

A Grand Wagoneer is seen swerving left, and crashing into a Silverado.

Jerry: You gotta give up your life of crime.
Akron: I'm not giving up on my brother!

Scott: LOOK OUT!!!!!!

A Toyota Camry spins out, and goes into a snowdrift in order to avoid crashing into Scott.

Song: link

It was a sunny day with no clouds in the sky. However, the ground was covered in five feet of soft, fluffy snow. Everything seemed very peaceful near a straight stretch of railroad track.

Birds: *Flying above the tracks. They decide to land on one of the rails, and get some pieces of snow into their mouths*

The rumble of a general electric diesel with 4,400 horsepower was heard, as well as a horn alerting motorists at a nearby crossing.

Birds: *Look behind them, then walk around in the snow for a bit*

The horn was heard again.

Birds: *Hop over to the other rail, beginning to eat more of the snow*

The horn was heard again. This time, louder, and it went off twice. One short, and one longer.

Birds: *Flying away as they see a big yellow diesel*

Jerry, a Union Pacific ES44AC was pulling a freight train by himself. He had to pull five grain hoppers, three boxcars, and two tankers to the Hunterdon Central interchange.

Jerry: *Goes around a right curve as he gets onto the mainline* Man, I could run through this snow forever!
Mr. Baldwin: Jerry, come in. Can you hear me on your new radio we installed?
Jerry: Loud & clear Mr. Baldwin. I don't know why we didn't come up with these sooner. These are wonderful!
Mr. Baldwin: Well, we got a few new engines joining our railroad. You might run into one of them. He's from General Electric just like you.
Jerry: You don't say. Well where is he?
Scott: *Blows his horn twice as he gets next to Jerry* Right here.
Scott
Scott

Jerry: Ah. Good to see you.
Scott: Name's Scott. I'll be pulling passenger trains.

Jerry smiled as he watched the Dash-8 pull ahead with his passenger train. He had a material handling car, and five Amfleets.

Jerry: Hm. Well, at least we got another Amtrak engine to take over Sean's work. Things won't be too different around here after all.

Episode 187: Who Do You Think You Are?

Written & Directed by Sean Bodine

Scott: *Looking back at Jerry* Let's see if you can keep up.
Jerry: You don't stand a chance.

The two engines were having fun. They soon got to a part where the mainline increased from two tracks to three.

A green Dodge Viper was speeding towards a railroad crossing at 60 miles an hour. A black man is driving.

Akron: This, and a few more should help me save my brother. *Goes through a left curve, and increases his speed to 65 miles an hour*

A black Suburban followed the Viper. Two more men were inside. The driver is white, and his friend, Asian.

Collin: We gotta get that car back for our buddy.
Rick: It maybe two against one, but we might need more help.
Akron: *Watches the Suburban* That could be undercover. *Floors it, and approaches the crossing*

The lights began to flash before Akron crossed the tracks.

Akron: I know what to do. *Overtakes a dark blue Silverado*
Lady: *Sees the Viper* AHH!!!! *Turns her steering wheel left*

The Grand Wagoneer swerved to the left, and struck the Silverado.

Collin: *Stops his car*
Rick: We can't do anything about it now.
Collin: Call the police. I'm gonna see if those people are okay.

The song fades away as Victoria stops, with the crashed cars blocking her path.

Jerry & Scott: *Stopping at the crossing with their trains*
Jerry: Hey Victoria.
Scott: What happened here?
Victoria: I don't know. My guess is someone forced the Jeep onto the wrong side of the road.
Collin: *Walking over to the engines* My buddy's calling the cops. We saw the guy who did this. He also stole a car from another friend of ours.
Rick: We're sorry if your service is being disrupted.
Jerry: You can't do much to change this.
Scott: Thank you though for helping out. By calling the cops, you gentlemen did the right thing.

After the crash was cleared, Jerry & Scott arrived at Nova together. A 4-4-0 was nearby with a 3 car passenger train.
Wilma
Wilma

Scott: Ah. Another passenger engine.
Wilma: I'm Wilma. Who are you?
Scott: Name's Scott, and this other General Electric engine in Union Pacific yellow is Jerry.
Jerry: Nice to meet you.
Wilma: Likewise. I'll see you after I finish my run.
Conductor: All aboard!
Wilma: *Rings her bell, and pulls her train*

Then after their work, the two diesels met another steam engine that joined the railroad. An 0-6-0 named Kira.

Kira
Kira

Kira: *Shooting steam out of her cylinders as she reverses to the coal, and water towers*
Jerry: Hey, another cousin.
Kira: *Stops blasting steam, and smiles at Jerry* Jerry!
Jerry: How'd you enjoy your trip from the east coast?
Kira: Spectacular. I was hoping there wouldn't be any snow like their was back home, but I can live with this.
Scott: *Follows Jerry to the roundhouse* What did you mean by other cousin?
Jerry: Before she arrived, we had an Amtrak engine who was also my cousin.
Scott: Oh really?

Mr. Baldwin was also talking about him at the roundhouse with Tabby, Bri, Jesse, and The Four Random D&H Alco PA's.

Mr. Baldwin: Andy Muller from the Reading & Northern called. He says everything is going great out there with Sean, Jazlin, Joey, and Mily. Those four are doing a very fine job.
Jesse: Good to know. I wish they were still with us, but I'm glad they're doing fine out there.
Mr. Baldwin: *Notices Jerry arriving with Scott* Well. Good to see you two getting along.
Jerry: I think you made a very fine decision having Scott join us sir.
Mr. Baldwin: I'm glad you think so. However, there is some bad news I have to share with you. A few hours ago, someone stole an expensive sports car from one of our autoracks while it was in Mossberg Harbor. Whether or not the thief intends to go back there to attempt more grand theft, I'm not sure. Be on the safe side, and spread the word to everyone you meet. Keep your guard up.
Tabby: Loud and clear.
Bri: We don't pull freight, but we'll still do our part.
Mr. Baldwin: That's what I like to hear. Okay, get some rest, and I'll see you tomorrow.
Scott: Is it just me, or does anyone get some kind of nostalgic vibe from Mr. Baldwin?
Jerry: Why? Because of his megaphone?
Scott: Yeah. Kinda reminds me of some other show about talking vehicles.
Jesse: He's got a good point. The nine years I've spent on this railroad, I can't shake that feeling out of my cab.
Jerry: Well listen, with Scott here, I know everything's going to be well. He'll do a good job running around with those Amfleets, find a hot pacific to date, and I think he'll get along very well with Zack, and Jim.

Nobody said anything, and Jerry went to sleep.

Next morning in Mossberg Harbor. The snow is slowly melting away, but it is still overcast.

Shayne: *Looking around suspiciously while waiting to leave with his train*
Crane: You're on high alert Shayne. What's happening?
Shayne: We had some cars being stolen off of our autoracks.
Crane: Yeah? Was it around here, or further back in your yard?
Shayne: Yard.
Crane: I can't see so well out there, but I'll try to keep a look out. It doesn't help much either with me being busy, and focusing on all these boats.
Shayne: I know, just throwing the word out there. Hopefully it can be passed on, and that criminal can be stopped.

Meanwhile, Mr. Baldwin was at the roundhouse, speaking to Jerry, Scott, and Victoria.

Mr. Baldwin: I heard you had to stop at a crossing due to an accident involving cars.
Victoria: It was caused by the guy who stole that Viper you mentioned yesterday.
Mr. Baldwin: Did you see that Viper?
Jerry: All I saw at the crossing was the accident. The car was already long gone when me, and Scott got there.
Victoria: I arrived before the two of them, and I also didn't see it.
Mr. Baldwin: Right. Like I said, I doubt he'll return to steal more cars from our autoracks, but keep an eye out all the same.
Scott: Sure. If that's all, I'm going to pull my train.
Mr. Baldwin: You do that. How are you enjoying our railroad so far?
Scott: I think it's great. Thanks for asking.
Mr. Baldwin: No problem. I'm always open to feedback if you have any suggestions.
Jerry: Alright, time to go. *Leaves the roundhouse*
Scott: *Following Jerry*

They backed into the yards to collect their respective trains.

Scott: *Goes into a siding to collect a train with a Viewliner baggage car, a Viewliner Diner, and four Horizon coaches.
Jerry: Whoa, whoa, wait. *Goes towards Scott*
Scott: Something wrong Jerry?
Jerry: What's with all these cars? You're supposed to take Amfleets.
Scott: Says who?
Jerry: That's what Sean always took on his passenger runs?
Scott: Can I be honest with you about something?
Jerry: Sure.
Scott: Who do you think you are?
Jerry: *Confused* What?
Scott: I'm sure your cousin was wonderful. I would like to meet Sean, but I don't have to do exactly the same thing as him. What I'm pulling will do just fine for my passenger trains.
Jerry: Sure.
Scott: I would also like to make friends my own way. Not just because I'm from the same railroad as my predecessor.
Jerry: Understood.
Scott: I enjoy big cylindered pacifics like any other diesel, but I would rather date an Atlantic. Maybe a ten-wheeler.
Jerry: Cool. Good to know.
Scott: Now that we got that out of the way. Friends?
Jerry: Friends.

The two engines smiled as they went back to work.

Later, they arrived at Mossberg Harbor simultaneously.

Jerry: Alright, I'll meet you back here after I drop off my freight cars.
Scott: I'll be waiting.
Jerry: *Enters the yards, and goes into a siding*

As Jerry began to drop off his freight train, he saw Akron. The black man was near an autorack loaded with automobiles.

Jerry: *Stops near Akron* Can I help you?
Akron: Just admiring your rolling stock.
Jerry: You wouldn't happen to have noticed anyone else around here stealing vehicles. Would you?
Akron: Oh, not really.
Jerry: You did it. Didn't you?
Akron: It was the tone of my voice that gave it away. Didn't it?
Jerry: Bad choice of words.
Akron: Well...listen. I got a brother being held hostage by some criminals. Stealing isn't something I wanna do, but when someone from my family is being threatened. Then.. That's a different story.
Jerry: I understand the situation, but becoming a criminal yourself is never a good answer.
Akron: Well I can't be a coward, and run to the cops. You're a talking train, I don't expect you to understand.
Jerry: Going to the police doesn't make you a coward. Giving in to the criminals, and doing what they want you to do, does.
Akron: See? I knew you wouldn't understand.
Jerry: No, you don't understand. You gotta give up your life of crime.
Akron: I'm not giving up on my brother!
Jerry: Well I'm calling the police. Whether you want me to, or not.
Akron: Tell 'em to eat my dust! *Runs away*
Jerry: COME BACK!!!

Song (Start at 0:54): link

Akron: *Running towards a Toyota Camry* Give me your car!! *Punches a woman, and pulls her out*
Woman: I'm calling the police on you!!
Akron: What else is new?! *Drives away*
Akron's getaway vehicle
Akron's getaway vehicle

Jerry: *Approaching Scott* We gotta stop someone, let's go!!
Scott: What about my passenger train?!
Conductor: All aboard!
Scott: Huh, how convenient. *Follows Jerry as he pulls his passenger train*

Jerry was running light, but Scott managed to catch up.

Scott: How are we going to stop a guy driving on the road?
Jerry: If I know that guy, he'll go to that same crossing like he did when he stole that Viper.
Akron: *Going 70 in his Camry*

A Ford Fusion police car had it's lights flashing as it followed Akron.

Akron: Let's see if you can catch up. *Floors it*
Cop: *Activates his siren* 2917, in pursuit of grand theft suspect! This could be the same guy who stole the Dodge Viper from the Eastern Pacific railroad.
Scott: *Side by side with Jerry on the mainline* How much further?
Jerry: Several minutes.
Akron: *Turning left* I might risk running into a train, but this is the quickest route to get to my brother. This may not have been a car on their list, but maybe they'll want it.
Cop: He's going towards a crossing!
Akron: *Watching the crossing lights flash* Gate's going down, but I can still make it.
Jerry: There he is!
Cop: He's not slowing down!!!
Scott: LOOK OUT!!!!!!
Akron: *Spins out, and goes into a snowdrift in order to avoid crashing into Scott*

The song fades away as Akron runs out of the car to attempt another escape.

Cop: *Stops his car in front of Akron*
Jerry: *Backing up to the crossing*
Cop: *Gets out of his car, and catches Akron*
Akron: *Getting arrested* Hey!
Jerry: *Looking at Akron with a disappointed expression*
Akron: Tell this copper what we talked about at the harbor!
Jerry: Who do you think you are?
Cop: We know about your brother, and we are going to rescue him. *Sighs* If only you spoke to us instead of giving in, and stealing cars for the criminals holding him hostage.

Scott was stopped at Nova Station to let his passengers off. Jack The Truck was also there.

Jack The Truck: When did you join our railroad?
Scott: Yesterday. I made pretty good friends with Jerry too.
Jack The Truck: Did you know his cousin?
Jerry: *Arrives at the station* Yes Jack. He knows about my cousin.
Jack The Truck: I wasn't asking you that question. Who do you think you are?

Song (Start at 5:26): link

Jerry: *Laughing*
Scott: Haha!! *Laughs*
Jack The Truck: *Laughing*

The song stops as everything fades to black for the end credits.

Andrew: *Arrives at Mossberg Harbor with ten boxcars*
Sean: *Waiting for passengers to get off his train. He sees Andrew stop next to him* Hey.
Andrew: Hey yourself. You haven't stopped looking at the Northern Errol Line's tracks.
Sean: That's where you're wrong. I just stopped looking now, so I could look at you while we talk.
Audience: *Laughing*
Andrew: You know, they haven't been bothering us for an entire week.
Sean: That's not good.
Andrew: They're not bothering us, and you think it's bad?
Audience: *Laughing*
Sean: They must have something big planned for us.
Andrew: Like what? Recreating...
