Since today is Flora's birthday, I decided to write a one shot in her p.o.v on her 22nd birthday. Hope you all enjoy it. Here's the link I based it off of.

I heard the alarm go off as I felt the sun shine on my face. I loved that feeling of warmth on my tanned skin. Spring was finally here, and that meant it was now March. If it was now March that meant it was my 22nd birthday. I was all alone after I decided to move out to the country side on Magix. I didn’t mind I loved being surrounded by nature, but I really did miss all of my friends. I missed them a lot, but I just have to accept I choose to live out in the country while they choose to live in the city. I wished every night once the first star rose in the sky, that just once they would come out here to visit. I guess I wished every night because I had nothing to lose and hope kept me going each day.

I got out of my bed as the chilled floor made me jump a little when I took my first step on it. I grabbed a pink baby doll dress, white cardigan, black shorts, and white ballet flats before heading to the bathroom. I did my morning routine except today I decided to curl my hair today instead of putting it in a ponytail. I walked down my wooden stairs to the kitchen. When I got to my kitchen, I froze. He ran to me and picked me up before he set me down and kissed my forehead as he said Happy Birthday my beautiful flower. I smiled and told him thanks and I almost forgot you had a key. He laughed as the two of us sat down at my tiny dining table and eat breakfast which he cooked. The two of us talked, and laughed like the good old times. I missed seeing him every day but that’s what happens when someone moves.

After breakfast and cleaning up, we went outside to have a lovely walk in the spring sun. We walked through the tall grass before we reached the forest of pines and maple trees. I loved the scent of the trees in the spring air. We reached the river after about ten minutes. Once on the bridge we stopped to look at the rushing waters with all the colorful fish. I felt so happy to have his company on this beautiful day that landed on my birthday. Helia took my hand, and led me to the river bank on the other side where a little duckling was all alone. I got the little duckling untangled and picked him up. I used my magic to heal the little cut on his tiny leg. I looked around and saw the momma duck, so I carried the fuzzy little one over to her. She quickly came over to her little duckling as joy came into her eyes. I smiled at this sight. Helia and I waved goodbye to the momma duck and her babies as they swam down the crystal river. We walked further into the forest, but stopped a meadow that bathed in the sunlight. I had never been this far into the woods, but I was in love with what I saw. I looked around at all the flowers that seemed to say hello with every step I took.

I said I love it, what about you? He replied [/i]I love it and I love you more Flora. That’s why I have something to ask you.[/i] I looked at him as he knelt to the ground. I felt my heart speed up. Helia looked up into her emerald eyes and said [/i]Flora, I love you with all of my heart ever since that day I first met you. I know right then and there you were the one for me, and ever since you moved out here my heart yearned for you to be by my side every moment. So Flora will you do me the honor of marrying me?[/i] he pulled out a black velvet box that when opened revealed a pink princess cut diamond with two smaller white diamonds on the outside. I said [/i] yes, a thousand times yes[/i] through the tears of joy that rolled down my face as he slid the ring onto my finger. He spun me around before setting me back on the ground. He brushed the hair out of my eyes as he pulled me close to kiss me. I put my arms around his neck as we kissed. I guess I got my birthday wish because now I wouldn’t have to be all by myself from now on.
