Note you might end up crying at the end. Also this fan fiction is way different from anything I have written, it's much darker, mature and for future chapters it will only get darker and sadder. The first week back was a rush of new classes, new friends, new teachers, new students and most of all new changes. The first week ends with the typical welcome back dance. The girls got ready together as usual like they did for every dance for the last three years. However this would be the last time, none knew it would be but the events that would happen would allow for secrets to come around.

Bloom had her fiery red hair down in curls cascading over her small frame with her bangs pulled back by a blue crystal barrette. Her dress was blue her favorite color. The color was so light it looked like tears. Like the ones she shed every day as she went to bed from the bullying. Her heels where black as night. Her friends didn’t know it, but the blue and black was for the bruises left behind by the cyberbullying since it was mentally and emotionally not physically.

Flora wore her honey colored hair in a messy low bun with small crystal flowers throughout her hair. She wore a blush pink dress that skimmed her petite tanned frame. Her shoes were white with red trimming. Like Bloom’s her outfit was symbolic. Her shoes looked like eyes when bloodshot from crying so much when her dress was the color Helia made her cheeks turn whether from happiness, romantic gestures or hurt. She may have fooled everyone by appearing confident and getting that movie role but it was an escape from this world. Sadly it wasn’t enough to escape. None of her friends knew she landed herself in the hospital over the summer. Even if they heard about the hospital visit only one person knew why. He had caused her hurt enough to put her over the edge, but he was the one to save her and tell her the cheating will never happen again because he loves her not the other girl. She believed him but that didn’t stop the bloodshot eyes and puffy cheeks from days of rain.

Layla put her chocolate brown hair in a fishtail with a poof and had a ribbon waved throughout the fishtail. The dress she had on was emerald green. It was Nabu’s favorite color but the color of that guy’s eyes from the two weeks in the summer that she wishes to forget ever happened. The shoes were a light grey color for the times she broke a promised and lied about it making her feel guilty on the inside. She knew the more she lied the darker her heart would grow and the guilty feeling would continue gnawing at her.

Musa pulled hair back into a sleek ponytail with a thin crystal headband. Her dress was ruby red with black lace while her shoes were a matte black. The red and black was for the envy and hatred that grew larger in her heart every day. The shoes that were matte and black were that fabric can cover every sound in the darkness of the night or of an empty room.

Stella pulled her hair into a loose braid with the bangs out and little pearl clips throughout. Her dress was orange like the sun while her shoes were eggshell a dirty white color. It represented how she was rich and could get anything she wanted since she was a princess but the stealing had stained her reputation even though no one would know.

Tecna left her hair like normal but put a purple sparkly headband with a giant bow. Her dress matched the bow but had a black lace overlay, and her shoes were silver. Silver like a cell phone that she kept hidden from the ones she hurt and loved. Purple meant loyalty but the black meant sins, this showed she was loyal to her friends but they had stabbed her in the back so the bullying was just a little karma.

The girls all walked down to the ballroom together; however, once there each girl went their separate ways and said they would see each other later. Bloom, Stella and Layla each quickly found their guy and started to dance to the music being played. Tecna and Musa found their guys at the tables; those two ate dinner first with their guys before dancing with the others. Now Flora she could not find Helia anywhere. After five minutes of searching, she found him. He was dancing with a pink haired fairy, and to make matters worse they were kissing. She felt the tears well up in her eyes. She ran to the tower all of them went to when they wanted to be alone. Flora cried and sat out in the pouring rain. She felt hurt and pain because he promised, but he betrayed her by breaking the promise. The feeling inside brought up all the pain from the summer, and she knew that the crying helped alleviate the pain but only one thing would the end the pain for real. She stood up and looked around. She pulled up her soaked dress and took off her heels before stepping up onto the bench. She looked down at the ground. It would be quite a drop, enough to kill someone. She grabbed her dress one last time and stepped onto the railing and looked down before she would go through with it. However as she jumped, a pair of strong arms pulled her back in and kept her in this world. She just broke down and cried in his arms. Chad (he is alive in this version) held onto and sat on the ground comforting her. When she got words out, he looked at her and saw the lights had been sucked out from her eyes, and she was just dead inside from the betrayal. She confessed everything to him because she knew he was the only person she could trust since he did care about her. He came to her when she was in need and actually saved her where Helia cared for wounds but just decided to rip the bandage off before it was fully healed. Now she sat in the pouring rain in a soaked dress with a guy who saved her and put a fresh bandage on. Maybe she could forget the pain from the first betrayal.


Questions to consider: What will happen when the others find out about Helia’s betrayal? How will they react to finding out about Flora’s attempted suicide? Who will the next betrayal come from? and Will anyone die from an upcoming betrayal?
