After last night I am so confused. I saw the way Daniel looked at Flora and it’s similar to the way I look at her. The thing is I don’t want to lose her because she is different from any other girl I have met. She isn’t vain or self-centered or a freak about what she eats or weighs. I really love her and I’m afraid of letting her go. I feel something roll down my cheek so I wipe it away before my mom sees me crying. That gives me an idea. Maybe my mom will have an answer; she always gives the best advice. I hope she has a solution because this is different than any scenario that has happened to me before.

Helia: (sticks in hands in his pockets) mom, can I ask you a question?
Jessica: (looks at her son and can sense what is going on) it’s about you and Flora isn’t it?
Helia: how could you tell?
Jessica: (puts her hands on her son’s shoulders) honey, I’m your mother and I know with the movie she will be away for a year and Daniel is her co-star and with the two of you apart and her spending time with him on set something might happen. Honey, I don’t want to worry or upset you but I don’t want to see you get hurt.
Helia: (slightly disappointed and depressed) I know, and I have no clue what to do. I love her and I won’t ever find someone like her again. (Looks to his mom) so what should I do?
Jessica: honey, I know it’s a tough decision but there is a quote that might help you out.
Helia: what’s the quote?
Jessica: the quote says “if you love something set it free. If it comes back to you it was yours but it if doesn’t it never was”
Helia: so basically if I love Flora, I break up with her for the year and when she comes back if we get together again our destinies are aligned but if not our love was not meant to be.
Jessica: basically; but think it through first
Helia: okay and thanks for helping mom (gives his mom a hug)
Jessica: anytime sweetie

I hope Helia will be okay. He has had a girlfriend before but nothing as serious as her. I think she will be the one I get to call my daughter in-law and her kids will call me Grammy. I look over at my son and I can tell every thought his breaking his heart even further. I really hate to see him like in this state. I want to help and protect him from pain; but I am starting to think those emerald green eyes are going to be the ones to shatter his heart like a vase as it and the floor meet their destiny before leaving every place possible in pain just to touch.
