Flora’s p.o.v
I am so excited I am auditioning for the role of Charlotte in the movie Story of the forgotten soul. Oddly my real name is Charlotte so I should have a problem there plus she is the head cheerleader at Mysterious Lake High School, which is similar because I am the head cheerleader at Alfea. Helia says this part is defiantly in the bag but I am so nervous, there are a bunch of girls hear in the waiting room yet not a word is spoken since everyone wants that part. I sigh and rerun my lines again and look around for any familiar faces but not one that I know. A door creeks and it is the director he says we need Miss. Charlotte. F. Monroe for her auditions, I get up and head to the room everyone starts whispering because my name is exactly the name of the character we are all auditioning for. As I walk towards the door my heart start racing and I feel butterflies in my stomach but I manage to enter the room with ease until I see the producer, director, and Daniel who will be playing Derek directly in front of me, I am freaking out but none of them have a clue and then the silence is broken.
Producer: So your name is Charlotte. F. Monroe, like the character’s name?
Flora: yes sir
Director: so what does the F stand for in your name?
Flora: Flora, which is the name all my friends call me
Producer: well it is a lovely name and would you please perform scene 22?
Flora: yes sir (sets down the script)
Director: you don’t your script?
Flora: no, sir (Daniel gets up and takes his place to start the lines and she flattens out her mid-thigh length baby pink eyelet pink dress)
Daniel: Charlotte, I can buy you another ticket if you forgot yours. (Brushes her hair out of her face and then brings his hand back down to his side and sighs)
Flora: No, Derek I can’t let you buy me another one plus my house is not around the corner
Daniel: Char, then just let me walk with you back to your house
Flora: no, you have to go inside just in case they announce Homecoming Queen and King early (starts backing up)
Daniel: Char, please I would have peace knowing you got there safely
Flora: (Taking his hands) Derek, I’ll be fine just trust me on this one (looks at him with puppy dog eyes and he melts when he sees her emerald eyes sparkling)
Daniel: fine, you win but at least could I have a goodbye kiss
Flora: okay (he brushes the hair back and leans in closer to kiss her and she leans in too and they kiss and then she pulls away after 10s like the script says) now I have to go okay
Daniel: okay (lets her go and she starts to walk away)
Director: and scene
Daniel: good job
Flora: you too
Producer: I honestly felt like it was a real conversation between the two of you and not a dialogue plus the kiss seem real and not fake
Director: I would have to agree; but we still have others to audition but we will call you in a week to let you know if you got the part or not
Flora: okay and thank you
Director: you are welcome
------Flora walks out the door after picking up the script she had brought with her and then descends down the staircase to the lobby where her boyfriend was waiting there for her with flowers and he gets up when he sees her and walks over to her and kisses her on the forehead
Helia: these are for you (gives her a bouquet of light pink roses, white lilies and yellow carnations)
Flora: you are too sweet and you know these are my favorite (takes his hand)
Helia: I know so I was hoping you would go to lunch with me?
Flora: of course I would go to lunch with you after all you are my boyfriend
Helia: then let’s go my flower (he holds out his arms and she blushes)
------The two walk out of the building with their arms lock it starts pouring rain and he gives her his jacket and once she puts it on the two kiss each other in the pouring rain and she feels sparks fly and everything in her life is perfect for now.
