--------------At Alfea the Winx are in their dorm doing their hair, make up, zipping up their dresses and sliding on their heels after luxurious relaxing baths & showers and cat naps
Stella: I love that this year’s theme is a black and white masquerade ball (setting her curling iron down)
Flora: Me too (walking out of her room in her dress for the dance)
---The others all walk out in their dress with their hair done and heels on
Savannah: sis you look amazing in that dress
Flora: thanks, I would have hated to be buried in it since you know its black (everyone glares at her with eyes that fill the air with tension)
Layla: it’s a little too soon to make death jokes
Flora: (crosses her arms and sticks out her right hip) Awwww c’mon, I’m alive and you all need to learn to take a joke
Stella: I will have to admit it was a little funny and your dress is too amazing to be buried in
Flora: see why can’t the rest of you be more like my girl Stella (puts her arm around Stella’s shoulder) and learn to take a joke

Musa: I say we all put on our masks, head down to the ball, find our dates, and dance the night away because all 7 of us are here to stay
Flora: agreed and by the way everyone looks amazing in either your black, white, or gray dress
Rest of the Winx: Thanks girly
---each girl slips on her mask or ties it in a bow in the back, then they form a seven person chain and walk down the steps in step with each other and the guys are waiting outside for them in their identical tuxedos but each have a different colored mask
Helia: I hope we will be able to recognize them with their masks on
Nabu: or maybe you are nervous about tonight?
Helia: probably just that I hope but I still am worried about recognizing them.
Brandon: you and me both; but at least Flora will be able to recognize you since not many guys here have a navy blue ponytail and she picked out your mask
Helia: true (looks at the singed forest and at the empty halls) but maybe it is just me but something in the air doesn’t feel right
Aaron: so it’s not just me that has a weird feeling
Sky: I agree with the both of you something just doesn’t feel right tonight
--The girls walked up but the guys didn’t notice they had arrived and heard their conversation
Stella: maybe you’re worried that we wouldn’t recognize you (the boys turn around and their jaws drop at the sight of the seven beauties in black, white and gray)
Musa: or you not being able to recognize us
Flora: or your nerves haven’t calmed down since the battle
Helia: how about all of the above (walking over to his girlfriend, to kiss her forehead while holding her hands) I never want to feel the way I did yesterday when I almost lost you for good
Flora: (looking up at her boyfriend with his midnight eyes sparkling in the moonlight) and you won’t have to because I’m here to stay

Riven: could you lovebirds get a room (everyone laughs)
Helia: riven you would be acting the same way if you were in my shoes
Riven: (sighs) I hate it when you are right
Stella: not to interrupt but I say let’s all go in and dance the night away forgetting what has happened in the past week

--Each girls locks arms with her date for the night and then they head into the ballroom. The ballroom had been transformed from its usual appearance to being decorated with black and white streamers, candles, balloons, a disco ball, and tables with over the top centerpieces; and then on the stage were the DJ and the crowns for the king and queen of the dance sitting on red velvet pillows on a golden podium; but the whole dance was decorated by the cheer team and their three captains Flora, Savannah and Riven (I will go into further detail about this in another story)
Flora: I think we did a good job of planning this dance, don’t ya think?
Savannah and Riven: I would say so

Flora: (breaking the silence) I cannot believe this will be our last fall formal as students here
Helia: I know we only have the winter formal, spring formal, prom, and the last chance to dance before we graduate to dance on this floor
Flora: I know (looks up but only to put her head back on his chest) but at the same time I do not want to leave this school’ everybody here is like my second family
Helia: I understand how you feel; but we will always have the school in our hearts plus we will have other chances to dance outside the school
Flora: (a little confused) what do you mean?
Helia: (takes her hand) come with me
----the couple walks outside to a little gazebo placed in the courtyard covered in vines and roses with a small orchestra playing music for six other couples outside
Flora: why are we out here?
Helia: just trust me (takes her to the gazebo surrounded by the six couples which happened to be their friends and her brothers and twin)
Flora: please just tell me why we are out here
Helia: (takes a deep breath) I know we still have the rest of our senior year before we graduate and this wouldn’t be right after graduation but once we are ready
Flora: (confused even more and she spins around to look at everyone else to see if they know what is going on) what are you talking about?
----- he starts to kneel down and reaches for something in his coat pocket while he does that each couple pulls out a different sign say one word to each spelling out “Flora, will you marry me ?”
Helia: Flora, will you marry me? (Opens a box to reveal a ring covered in diamonds with a princess cut pink diamond in the center)
Flora: (gasps in shock while putting both hands over her mouth, then nods over and over again) of course I would (said happily)
Helia: your just made me the happiest man in the world (slides the ring on her finger and then picks her up and twirls her around then to set her back down and kiss her)
Helia’s POV
I cannot believe she said yes, I am so happy right now words can even describe how I feel at this moment; and after what happened yesterday it made me realize how much I love her and need her in my life. When our lips touch firework go off more than usual and I hear clapping in the background but at this moment all that matters is we will be together as long as we both shall live.
Flora’s POV
At first I had no clue why he brought me out here and it was odd everyone else was out here like a scene from a movie; but when he knelt down and the signs went up my heart starting skipping beats and fluttering. I just couldn’t believe my eyes and then when he proposed everything in the world seemed to fit together like the pieces in a puzzle. After I said yes, he picked me up twirled me around in a circle, and we kiss it felt like a kiss every girl dreams of when she meets her prince charming and I have mine and now we will be together as long as we both shall live.
---the couple ends their kiss and tears just stream down Flora’s face
Helia: (noticing his girlfriend crying, he cups her chin in his hands) why are you crying?
Flora: I am just so happy that I have my prince charming and someone to actually to calm mine
Helia: me too but I have my princess (drying her eyes and then she smiles) that’s the smile I love to see from you
Flora: (blushing) I love you
Helia: and I love you
------Fireworks are set off outside, all the couples go back inside and the king and queen are announced which happened to be the newly engaged couple. Those two were beaming for the rest of the night; once the dance was over everyone said their goodbyes and the Winx Club had one of their infamous sleepovers to talk about the dance, the proposal and Savannah joining the club.
