At Alfea
Violet sighed. It had been a day since they had lost all contact with the others. What was worst they were thought to be stranded on Nightmare Island. The island was thought to know your deepest secrets and fears and remind you of them through you dreams. Violet sighed as she shuffled off to her class that the Winx taught. She was walking with her new friend, Glitter, to class. They met up with Lilly and Megan who looked as sad as Violet felt. Glitter had long brown hair and deep green eyes. She was wearing a with long sleeve shirt that had ‘love’ on it and jean shorts, she also had light brown knee high boots. As soon as Violet walked into the classroom she rushed up to Tecna, who was doing something on the computer, and asked, “Any news?” Tecna looked up at her with a hint of sadness in her eyes. “No, I’m sorry. We’ll keep you posted though.” Violet looked down and sighed. She slid into her seat in the front of the room and Glitter sat next to her with Lilly and Megan behind. Violet turned around. “Do you guys think they’re okay?” She question. Lilly looked down and traced the picture on her text book with her finger. “I hope so.” Mumbled Megan. Violet looked at her with a sorry look in her eyes. She knew that Julie, Lilly, and Megan had been friends long before they came to Alfea. Bloom walked in then. “Good Morning you guys, today we’re going to be talking about finding your inner Winx. You will need a partner for this and -” Blooms sentence was cut short by two guys walking into the room. One boy looked to be about 15 or 16 and the other looked about 19. Layla stepped towards them. “Hello, can we help you?” She asked bravely. Violet didn’t know how she could; these guys looked scary, like they were thugs or criminals. The younger one ha caramel hair and deep blue eyes. He was tall and looked like he worked out a lot. He had a black leather jacket on over a red shirt and dark blue jeans. He looked bored. The older one was the one that really scared Violet. He had jet black hair and hazel colored eyes. He was taller than anyone Violet had ever seen. He had to duck to come in the classroom. He had tattered jeans and a leather jacket over a black hoodie. He had an angry expression on his face. “We’re here for Kristina Reeds.” The younger one said in a bored tone. Violet was about to say she wasn’t here but then Stella said, “Why?” The younger one crossed his arms across his crest and said, “She’s our sister.” Violet blinked a couple of times. Now that she thought of it they did kind of look alike. Bloom looked surprised at them. “I’m sorry to tell you this but she’s not here.” She said and looked apologetic at them. This time the older boy stepped forward, causing Layla to take a step back, “I know that, I want to know WHERE she is.” He said in a deep voice. No wander Kristina kept to herself and was quiet. Violet thought. Tecna said, “We think they’re stranded on an island called Nightmare Island.” The younger boy nodded and turned to leave. “That’s all we needed to know.” He said. Violet couldn’t believe she was doing this. “Wait!” She called. The boys spun around. Violet gulped nervously before continuing. “Are you guys going after her?” She asked shakily. The younger boy nodded. Violet forced to say what she was thinking. “Can I go with you?” She questioned making the boys look surprised. Then Lilly and Megan jumped up from behind her. “Us two?” questioned Lilly. Then Glitter stood up, “Me also.” She asked, or rather stated. Before the boys could answer the Winx jumped up. “Wait a minute! No one’s going anywhere! It’s WAY to dangerous.” Stella said in a firm tone. “Wait a minute.” Bloom started. “You guys think about it. Flora, Musa, Helia, Brandon, Riven, Kristina, Jasmine, Charlotte, Julie, Blake, James, and Bryan are all trapped on some island. Maybe we all should go.” The boys smirked and said, “Well? We only have so much time, are you coming or not?” The younger one questioned. The girls looked to one another. Bloom nodded. “Let’s go talk to Ms. Faragonda. Class study the history of the Trix and keep quiet.” Bloom said than turned to Violet, Lilly, Megan and Glitter. “Come on.” She said and the girls slowly shuffled out of the classroom and towards Ms. Faragonda’s office with the boys following. We they swung open the doors Violet was surprised to see the boys already there. Ms. Faragonda looked at them. “I knew there was know way to change your minds so I figured why not send more help.”
Glitter couldn’t believe what she was going to do as she buckled herself up on the strange looking ship. She looked around. There was so many people on the hip. First there were Kristina’s brothers, William and Logan, then there were the regular Winx and Specialist, then there was Violet, Glitter, Lilly, Megan, and then some people Glitter had never seen before, there were seven guys named, Jett, Colton, Michael, Tyler, Paul, Jonny, and Lucas. The ship began to shake and it slowly took off. It took a while until Tecna finally said “We’re flying over Nightmare Island.” William nodded and started to fly down towards the island. By the time they had landed, it was beginning to get dark. As the group stepped out Glitter noticed a trio of girls. The one on the left had wavy/curly neat long brown hair and purple eyes. She was carrying a flash light. The one in the middle had medium length caramel curly hair and the darkest blue eyes Glitter had ever seen. She was also the youngest and smallest looking of the trio. The girl on the right had long brown hair and green eyes. She looked like the oldest and was carrying firewood. The girl in the middle stopped when she saw William and Logan. She glared and questioned, “William? Logan?” The way she made her voice sound made it sound like she couldn’t stand them. William and Logan pushed past Glitter and the others. “Hey, you missed us?” Asked Logan. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared. “Not really.” She retorted. The girl with the long brown hair stepped forward. “Hey, who are these guys?” She asked. “These are my brothers.” The girl said and disgust colored her voice.
Kristina couldn’t believe that her brothers were here. She couldn’t stand them. Ever since her oldest brother had disappeared she couldn’t stand being around anybody in her family. Especially her brothers. She glared angrily at them while everyone else like Violet, Lilly and Megan, and a girl she’s never seen before filed out of the ship. “How did you even know what happened?” She question. Her brother Logan smirked and said “Twin telepathy.” He said while Kristina rolled her eyes. Jasmine put her hand on Kristina’s shoulder. “He’s your twin?” She asked bewildered. Kristina nodded. “But he’s so . . .” Charlotte said in awe. Kristina nodded again. “Yea I know.” Logan pretended to be offended. “What, no hug for your favorite brother?” He asked then quickly realized what he had done. “Kristina I’m sorry, I didn’t mean -” but Kristina turned away and began to run, tears running down her face.
Jasmine stared after Kristina and turned back to see Kristina’s brother, William hitting Kristina’s twin, Logan, on the back of the head. “Are you an idiot?!” He question angrily. “I don’t know what’s wrong with you! You’re suppose to protect her not make her cry and run away! I knew I should have left you at home!” Logan turned red. “I’m not the one who left Caleb in the woods that day! I’m not the reason this family has fallen apart!” This made William shake with anger. Jasmine intervened before it could get worst. “This isn’t helping! I’ll go after Kristina and Charlotte will lead you to the others okay?” She said and turned away not waiting for an answer. As Jasmine ran through the woods looking for Kristina she happened to look up and say Kristina sitting in a tree head phones on, hood up and arms crossed. Jasmine began to climb the tree and took twice as long as it had taken Kristina to reach her. “What was that about?” She asked softly, not wanting to offend Kristina. Kristina turned away, “Nothing.” Jasmine sighed; she knew that she couldn’t make Kristina talk if she didn’t want to, it was like when she came back from Russia. She sighed. “Well, if that’s the case, I suggest we get back to camp and pack up. It looks like we’re going home.” Kristina nodded and swung down in one swift movement while Jasmine slowly slides down the tree trunk.
Julie saw Jasmine and Kristina walking up to the ship. “Hey you guys! You weren’t at camp!” Jasmine called out. “Yea, we just got here!” Lilly called back. The others had already arrived. Julie was so excited that Megan and Lilly were here. She was also excited that they were leaving. Just then the boy named William muttered, “Uh-oh” Logan whispered quietly, but Julie heard them. “What’s wrong?” William turned to him and whispered urgently, “The ship! It won’t start!” Julie’s eye grew wide with disbelief. “Go get Kristina, maybe she can help!” William said. Logan nodded and run up to his sister and dragged her to the control panel. “What?!” She practically screamed, and hit both of them in the back of the heads then turned to everyone else. “Sorry guys, but we’re stuck here!” She said with disbelief. This caused a great chaos. Sky stepped forward, “What?” he asked in disbelief. “Yup because my brothers aren’t smart enough to pack extra fuel.” She said annoyed. Julie sighed. It was just their luck. Slowly the evening turned to night and everyone fell asleep.
I looked around at my tiny cell. It was small and had blood stains all over the wall. I looked down at my bloody hands. I sighed and my eyes began to fill up with water. Why had I moved to Russia? It was such a stupid decision. Here I was, think I could start a new life. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The slot in the large metal door open. My head snapped up. It had been days since I had eaten or drunken. I didn’t know how much more of this I could take. I had been in there for over a year. “Eat up American.” Called a sarcastic gruff voice. A metal plate slid into the small cell. I scrambled over to it and gobbled down the hard, tasteless food. Perhaps I should be worried that it was poisoned, but I’m too hungry to worry. I grab the medal cup that’s full of a weird looking liquid. I press it to my mouth. It was water, unfiltered, but water. It felt so good going down my throat. Before I knew it, the water and food was gone. I slid back into the corner in the fetal position. I knew that today I would probably be beaten like every other day; only on rare occasions do I not get beat. I look around the small cell. The walls are metal and cold. They mock me everyday. I sleep on a medal bed with out a blanket or pillow. My legs are battered and bloody along with the rest of my body, often I can’t even walk. Today is better than most, I stand up leaning onto the cold wall for support. I feel my face is wet, I wonder if I’m bleeding again, I put my hand to my face and realize that it’s not blood, its water. I realize I was crying. Suddenly I fall to the floor my hands covering my face. I miss my life. I miss the warm sunshine. I miss school and my job. I miss my friends. I miss my parents. I don’t want to live anymore. I have given up all hope.
Jasmine awoke to find her face cover in water. That was the day she decided that no one was coming for her. No one cared. She thought that she was going to die. Jasmine eased her breathing and sat up and thought, why did I dream of that?
