The Vampire Diaries Article: It's Everyone's Club!

So I've only been a member of Fanpop for like a month, and lately I guess I've made it my mission to better the clubs I'm apart of; especially the TVD clubs cause they're my favorite! Anyways, something I've noticed is that there always seems to be fighting between one ship or another, wether it's Delena, Stelena, Bamon, Klaroline, or Forwood. And honestly, I feel it needs to stop.

Don't get me wrong, I don't see anything wrong with a little competitive rivalry, but some people just go on, and on about how they hate this couple or how their couple is just the over all best... Really? What are we, five? Anyways, it's petty and I've seen some really hurtful things that have been said to one another.

What kind of image are we showing for our club if everyone just see's us fighting over our favorite ship's? And it's not just this club either; it's the TVD show club and TVD Couples club as well. I've already brought attention to this issue to TVD Couples club, but I'm bringing it to attention here because this is the main TVD club, so it should be us who try and set a good example; because our couples that we love so dearly are driving wedges between our club mates and other clubs.

I'm not asking for you to not say anything if someone insults your ship; all I'm asking is that you be the bigger person. I mean, this is everyone's club, not just Delena's or Bamon's or Forwood's club; so let's try to act like adults and respect each other's opinions even if we disagree. No harsh words, no insults, no long rants about how your couple is way better than some other couple. Just civilized fans all apart of a diverse community. :)

On another note, who's ready for Season 4 to start?!? :D

twilighter4evr I agree with you... I am really tired of the shipping wars. I have several friends that are Delena fans where I'm a Stelena fan and we respect each others ships and don't feel the need to insult the others... I wish it were that way between all of us, but I doubt it will ever be. As Stefan says to Damon in Season 1 [i]"Can't we give it a rest"[/i]. I really hope your article helps with respecting everyone's ship :). Nicely said. And yes I'm beyond ready for Season 4 :))

Facts about Damon & Stefan’s relationship

Ok I just been re-watching some bones episodes of S4, and the episode where Jared (booth’s little brother) comes to the picture, made realize how much of their dynamic is the same as Damon’s & Stefan’s dynamic. See when Jared came on he was in military intelligence, he had a “better” job than booth, and he seemed “better” than booth.
