Is Season 4 the worst season so far?

Definitely the worst. I totally agree with you about Elena's endless problems. And it pisses me off SO MUCH that Bonnie never gets a storyline of her own, just when Elena and Co. need help. Um, Magical Negro much? This is the 21st century, Julie. Let the black character have a storyline of her own that doesn't revolve around helping her white friends. And what's with Klaroline this season?! They made us love them last season, now what the hell?

I'm not a Delena fan (at all), so I also hate their storyline this season, but I imagine for rather different reasons than you. ;D But I'm not trying to start a ship war here. I do, however, agree that their relationship doesn't seem to have progressed much now that they are a couple, oddly enough. As a Stelena girl, not gonna lie, I liked that their first sex scene was intercut with Stefan and Caroline's conversation (hehe, still makes me chuckle), but I agree that it was a slap in the face to Delena fans who'd been waiting for so long for that scene. However, as a Bamon fan, I've been slapped in the face many times over the course of the show, so it didn't bother me unduly.

But anyway, I am in absolute accord with you that season four is the worst so far. I used to really like Elena, but now... God, if she doesn't stop being so terribly written, someone just needs to stake her and put us all out of our misery already. Seriously.

Although I do have to give the writers kudos for doing one thing absolutely right this season: KILLING THAT LITTLE SHIT JEREMY OFF FOR REAL. Halle-fuckin'-lujah! There is a God. I had been waiting for that moment since day one.

But still. Season five better be better.

You got to be kidding me!! This season is freaking amazing!! I mean ok, maybe my fav OTPs aren't really together...But it's so interesting!!! I cannot wait for another episode!! I mean NYC, Silas, Katherine, cure...it's all so tense!!! I think TVD is getting better and better with every season.

i quite agree with u considering the 1st 10 episodes..it was boring..being a delena fan i was really looking 4ward to the moment where delena comes true finally..but hated it..delena together is dreadful with that stupid sire bond and somehow damon has become a good brother...eww..damon looks like an idiot without being the bad brother and without his flirty comments on elena..
Elena with her humanity off is far more interesting than the weepy crybaby vamp elena.atleast she s cool.. Watching the 17th and 18th episode makes me think that season4 has finally come to the real tracks of the former fantabulous seasons.. Elijah katherine affair is amaziog. Looking 4ward to klaroline to happen soon.. Love elena's new hairstyle..waiting 4 more

no i don't think it's the worst season but it's not the best.

I think it's the best season so far. The whole plot is so exciting and amazing. But I miss Jeremy...

No it's not the worst I love these shows so much and I'm glad bonnie is dead I've been waiting for it to happen.

OMG!! thank goodness. someone actually understands. season 4 was soooo bad. they killed off 2 main character, bonnie and Jeremy (not that I care about him) , and then the kill off another semi biggish character Kol which I was furious over. They killed off other minor character like Connor. T
hey turned Katherine (W.T.Flop?!?!)and then the whole Stefan thing which I found ridiculous btw. THEN they brought in April Young which I found pointless coz she was only in a few episodes.
I thought I was bored of Elena last season but this season I could hardly stand her. it's all about her. blah blah blah. she led Stefan on and did it with his bro. I found her nasty at times even with her humanity on. I could go on forever but she's just not worth it.
their just dragging the Karoline thing on. seriously I was a HUGE Karoline fan but each new episode I'm getting sick of it.
the bonnie thing is ridiculous. seriously she just sits quietly in the shadows until people need her. talk about getting used. seriously she needs better friends. actually even if she got rid of just Elena her life would be so much more easier. it's basically all Elena's fault for all her pain.
the whole caroline, Klaus, tyler, Hayley is so annoying i'm getting angry thinking about. AND KLAYLEY'S BABY!!! no. sorry w.t.flop
there are just so many more things wrong with this season.
