Help with the books?

i have read 4 bks in these series and here is what i know:
*the bks in this series are 5; The Awakening,The Struggle,The Fury, The Dark Reunion, and Nightfall.

*The new bks in the series coming out are: Shadow souls(which might come out this yr or not) and Midnight (which will come out 2010)

*I think that it is because this bks were written a whil ago (1990s), that they decided to pair them up, so they put together the first two bks and then the 3rd and the 4th together(they also gave them new covers). The fifth is still alone tho.

so the bk u get next includes The fury and Dark Reunion. and after The return: Nightfall

ok the next book you would get is The Vampire Diaries #3-4 : The Fury and Dark Reunion which has to book it to. there actully 4 books in the orginal series thats the series there came out in the 90's all there did to make it look new is give the books a new cover. and then theres going to be a vampire diaries thats going to be vampire diaries the return series which is going to have book 1 Nightfall (Vampire Diaries : The Return then there's going to be Shadow Souls (Vampire Diaries : The Return Series book 2 then vampire diaries book 3 Midnight due 2010) if you want to to find out more info about vamnpire diaries you can go tolink to find out more about the books hopefully this info helped answer your question. i read this thing that lj smith said when she was at the blog fest where like 40 author meet and talk about there books and she said as for vampire diaries I will continue to write them for as long as the publishers and I get along.so i don't think anybody who's reading vampire diaries series has to worry about that book series ending right away.

That is the first 2 books. After that you should get The Fury and Dark Reunion, or just the old version of The Fury. All together there's 5 books so far, if you separate them. That's The Awakening, The Struggle, The Fury, Dark Reunion, and The Return: Nightfall. Hope I helped!
