the reason i think people are calling elena a slut is because damon and stefan are brothers

It's a fictional show, so I don't try and take it to seriously, but I will say this, if it was reality, brothers or not, yes that is what she will be seen as, no matter the circumstances.

If you also have feelings for another and you have to see that person a lot of the time, the right thing to do is to finish with the other and work out your feelings, as it looks like your just stringing two men along to suit your own needs.

She needs a break from the two, to work out her own feelings.

If someone think of her as a slut it doesn't metter for them if they are brothers or friends. No difference. But I don't see a point in calling her like that. Yes she kissed Damon it's not her fault that she has feelings for him. They didn't have sex or anything like that, she tries to act properly ;)

They would call her a slut anyway because they're mean and don't understand that a slut is someone who sleeps around. They have to ask themselves the question. Does Elena sleep around? The answer to that is no.

I don't think it has anything to do with Stefan & Damon being brothers, although I think calling her a slut for a kiss is extremely harsh in my opinon, and not only because I hate the word.

Damon WAS dying and regardless of which ship you sail, you have to see that she was only showing Damon that while she may not be in love with him she does care about him. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have done the same in her position.

Elena seems to be one of those characters who can't do anything without p*****g off some members of the fanbase, that's just the way it is.

I don't think it would matter, those people really have no idea what they are talking about. I am sorry, but she may love damon but she has not had sex with him,I know people are going to get mad and I will explain, she cannot be considered a slut because she only had sex with STEFAN.They also could be confusing her with Katherine. She isnot with Stefan anymore, they basically broke up,when he chose Damon over Elena.
This is childish and also I am sorry but learn the meaning of the word slut before you call someone one.

They confuse Katherine - in devastating the brothers bond by loving one, and sleeping with the other - with that kiss.
But that kiss was a bittersweet goodbye, nothing romantic, just her caring beautifully for Stefans dying brother. She doesn't deserve being called that. After they learnt of Stefans ultimate act of love for them both, everything paled in comparison. Whether they were brothers, lovers or bestfriends, Elena won't be what Katherine is. Ever.

Well elena is messing around with both of them she leads stef on saying she loves him while at the same time is cuddling and getting close to his brother. Pretty sure she slept with Damon as well by now and was messing around with her EX also....So yah I hope they kill her off the show I can't stand some1 who tells some1 they love them but then stab them in the back. If your with someone then love that someone do not betray them if you have feelings for some1 else then let the one go instead of doing his friends or family while still saying you love him.....
