Are they going to dye elenas hair blonde and give her blue contacts? i hope so she cant have brown hair and brown eyes!

they cant have everything the same as the book because it would get boring the vampire diaries TV show is sooooooooo much better then the books and it doesnt matter elena has different coloured hair and eyes and darker skin and some people have different last names.i couldn't imagine anyone else for the role of elena nina plays her soooooooooo well and is as hot has they describe her in the book.

No they left Nina Dobrev with crappy brown eyes and hair. They don't plan to follow the book. Just like some things in Twilight, they butchered the actual feel and flow just to please it's viewers, which I don't understand because I personally think Nina Dobrev SUCKS at being Elena. But that's just me.
