okay not trying to sound stupid, but who is this Jeremy guy? i saw him on an icon but do not remember him from the book. thx!!

i haven't read those books but, in case you r interested, Jeremy is Elena's brother, at leats on the TV show

In the books Elena has a four year old sister named Margaret and her Aunt Judith. On the show her Aunt's name is Jenna and she's about half the age as she is in the books and Jeremy is her younger brother (also high school age) instead of Margaret, who doesn't exist on the show. Jeremy is NOT in the books at all! ;)

um, i honestly can't remember him from the vampire diaries. he wasn't one of the major characters and i cant even remember a one line character by the name of Jeremy. are you sure it's from this series?the only thing that makes sense to me is Jeremy the werewolf from the night world series by L.J.Smith in book 2.could that be it?

i guess that could be it. but he is going to be in the new VP series on the CW. maybe he is just somebody they made up to fit a part that was not origanaly IN the book??? IDK i guess we will just have to wait until this fall to find out! (p.s. thx for answering!)

And I started reading the books after watching the entire show(or what has been aired) and I like the differences but at the same time wish they kept it more like the books. I already have the tv characters in my head. Jeremey is awesome in the show. And yes her half brother. Now that it is revealed John Gilbert is Elena's dad. They have the same mother. That doesn'take them cousins. Silly girl.
