Why do you think that both Damon and Stefan like Elena? Is it because she looks like Katherine?

I think that is what intrigued them about her at first, but once they got to really know her the fact that she looked like Katherine is just that she looks like Katherine. They both understand now that she is NOTHING like her, and they love that about her.

Damon - Not at all.
Stefan - I could see that as a reason, seeing as their relationship was so rushed. The stalking thing kinda creeped me out too.

I think a little bit for both of them. If you remember, Stefan watched Elena to make sure she WASN"T Katherine. Damon fell in love because he was a monster (not anymore) and she still was kind to him.

THat what got them to like her in the first Place, but it was really when Stefan got ot know her better, but then damon Rerally Loved Cathren and is just looking for a replacement.
