Look for the return of the actual, literal vampire diaries. With no one to talk to about all their inner turmoil, since they're keeping it from each other, Stefan and Elena both go back to writing in their journals. It's definitely a sign of the growing distance between them.

You know what I love about delena, it's that when ever they are together it's like there's no one else in the world but them. They were both having genuine fun here and it's because of each other! I know I have never seen Elena this happy with Stefan before. The problem is Elena worries way too much about what other people think. You know … I love Stefan, but goddammit if I don’t always feel bad for Damon every single time Elena breaks his heart, which is often. He’s so tragic, but his intentions are so good, and he’s such an ultimate romantic at heart, which is totally unappreciated by pretty much everyone. As we can see, Rebekah hallucinated Matt and killing him, and in 2x22 Damon also hallucinated Elena in his Katherine flashback. There's an obvious pattern, they all saw their deepest desires and fears. Elena said no because she's scared to admit what she really feels for Damon, not because she doesn't want to be with him. What if he cheated on her? What if he didn't but he does now, through these episodes?

I really liked this episode. For me it was kind of... fresh.
We got some SE & DE scenes, but I like thay they didn't keep it Elena/romantic-centric. Rebekah/Elena, Klaus/Damon, finally some amazing Steroline, this new Haley girl can bring some fresh air to Tyler's character & I also liked these few April scenes. Plus I'm really curious about "The five" history!

I'm crying when watching ep 2 of S4. It's always Damon that knows everything clearly, truly. He never shows his good side But he is mature. He knows about life more than anyone. He's never selfish with Elena like Stefan. He knows what's really good for her. He doesn't force her to live the way he wants her to live. I noticed a lot of people who dislike Stefan use the name "Saint" Stefan for him. It's obviously sarcasm, you obviously hate him and are mocking him. So could you just not? It's fine if you use it on your own with your friends, but when you're in a shared community like this one with Stefan fans present it's actually kind of rude.
