Well I think it's kinda tied but imo Katherines love is a mix of love& obsession. {Total SK shipper...} But Elena, idk I think she does, right now anyways, we'll see what happens with Damon& her.

I hate Katherine, but Stefan is the only person she loves! Elena is in love with him too however I don't think she's as assured in her feelings as Katherine.

He started to stalk Elena because she looked like Katherine and he kept a photo of her still after he got with Elena. It feels to me that Elena's personality is what he wishes Katherine's was like. Stefan likes everything to be perfect and too normal and Katherine is the opposite to these connotations. I think Stefan hates himself because he loves Katherine because Elena is what he wishes he loved,and though I think he loves Elena,it's Katherine he loves the most and Elena is just represents what he wants but what he can't let himself want.

I think they both do, but Elena a little more.

Katherine thinks she loves Stefan. If she truly did, why would she want Damon too? AND She has been on the run for 145 years for her survival, if it had been tru wuv, wouldn't she come back for Stefan before?

I am sure Elena loves him more, cause she knows HOW to love anyone! If Katherine loved him, she would want him to be happy with Elena even if it hurt her, she wouldnt do those horible things like stabbing him!

I love both S/E and S/K, but my honest opinion is that Katherine loves Stefan more. My reason is Elena is denying her feelings for Damon (who she will eventually come to love), whereas Katherine has already been through 'the Damon thing' and has chosen Stefan. Therefore, I think Katherine loves Stefan more. Right now, there is still Damon in the way of S/E, and Katherine has already been through her little love triangle.

Why do you have to be a Delena fan to think that? It's a bit like DB fans saying Damon doesn't love Elena as much as Stefan. It's all subjective.

nsk: I think Katherine loves him more because 145 years went past, and she still loves him. She does love him because of the flashbacks in 2x04 where us viewers saw her more vulnerable side and how being around Stefan affected her. Elena on the other hand has been in love with Stefan for a shorter period of time. If Elena can love Stefan for the same amount of time Katherine has, then I'd probably pick her.

I also think that Katherine does know how to love. Vampires can love. Stefan and Damon love Elena. Whatever though... this is just my opinion and I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible despite my love for delena. I'm sure most of you S/E fans disagree with me. It's all good ;)

Katherine has a twisted sense of love. I am not saying Elena's love for Stefan is be all and end all, I am just saying that Katherine doesn't really love Stefan.
