So much more dramatic& heartbreaking. Paul was great in the scene but there were really no tears at all. And the fact that Ian rarely opens up showing his emotions but actually shed a tear... it was just so damn epic, yet heartbreaking </3

it was totally heartbreaking cause he shed the tear while wiping her memory of the only moment where he opened up fully to some one for ages T_T it has so many layers of deep meanings

Yes I agree with NCISluverjk93. Damon rarely opens up, so to see that one tear drop, for me, was really extreme. It takes alot for im to tear up... and that's what got me. But Stefan's scene was heartbreaking too. I loved Both of those scenes

People who picked Ian/Damon were being bias. Paul owned his scene, and his crying took much more effort and talent than Ian's single tear.

Romantic. :) But it was really hard to choose. Both were so sad. :'(

on acting ability duhh paul LMFAO. all we saw in ian's scene was a tear drop, totally could be done w/ an eye dropper LMFAO, not much acting ability there. haha and clearly whoever picked damon here is completley bias.

Overall I prefer the 2x08 scene because it literally made me cry.

But Paul did a great job here. He really turned on the tears. Not to take away from Ian though because 2x08 was tragically beautiful and sad. But the pick asked about crying so I'm giving this one to Stefan.

Damon's tear was sad, but c'mon! Paul's acting when crying was just amazingly well done! He did the crying scene better IMO!
BUT if it were best emotional scene, then 2x08 will deffo be my pick!

I find it more moving with Damon, because I didn't ever expect to see him cry.

@Anna_JH It's not about Damon; it's about Ian. And all Ian did was shed a single tear, which, as livexthexlife92 stated, could have been done with a dropper. Paul's crying took real talent because not too many people can make themselves cry like that, especially not guys.

Frankly to say...both! But this one seemed me more romantic! ;;;;;;

both were amazing scenes. the one with Stefan was acted sooo well i was crying and im a delena fan. he was soo upset. and the scene with Damon was the best scene in the series. he never cries or shows that he is upset. but he did the hardest thing that he has ever had to do. and it was obvious because he cried one tear. and then he was gone.

He was brilliant in this scene. His acting was superb. Ian was definitely good but not as good as Paul.

Paul did a great job but I didn't cry because Stefan is like that, always showing his emotions, Damon on the other hand uses sarcasm as a defense mechanism, he doesn't want people to know he really cares about others than himself, that tear shows that he actually FEELS and he's in pain... my baby :(

THAT WAS SO HARD. The quiver that Paul does kills me, but Ian, Ian, Ian. This scene ripped me to shreds and the crying was so meaningful. :( Not to mention you know it's real when DAMON is crying. <3 aldfkj amazing.

Believe it or not Damon's one tear was wayyyy more heartbreaking than Stefan's sobbing which i found really fake. Just my opinion...

Im a total DELENA fan, but Paul was amazing in that scene! Broke my heart watching that and I think I will cry pretty hard if that's his reaction to Damon & Elena finally getting together..
My favourite scene on the show so far however was when Damon cried that one teardrop. And Ian was superb in it, but as far as who did the crying best it was Paul! Damon doesn't really cry, he would never cry like Stefan did that's just not his style.

Now if the question was who is best at portraying pain the answer would have been Ian.
