She's pretty amazing as Caroline, but I don't think she couldn't handle Elena too, she fits in book!Elena description, blonde, gorgeous, queen bee type... besides, book!Elena is kind of like tvshow!Caroline sometimes talking about personality, so I guess.
I'd prefer someone else, actually, but Candice could handle it.

I think, if she had been cast as Elena, then I would have liked her. But now we have Nina, and I can't picture Elena being portraied by anyone else.
