No one in the show was born entirely bad, but it's no excuse for what they did. Like Damon said in 1x20: "these are my actions. I own them". And about Katherine doing everything just to survive: she did plenty of bad deeds that were completely unnecessary for her survival, and I'd say some of them put her in more danger of being caught and killed. posted over a year ago.

With Stefan trying to convince everyone she was not born this way that she had been through a lot and seeing everything she's been through and everything up to the last 5 minutes she was selfless and we get screwed over. I mean I actually liked the episode and having katherine remember things and stuff and truly thought she changed, but she hasn't. She has and will always be a lying bitch. I think a lot of characters felt for her by the end, and I was pissed I got screwed over thinking she's changed. Even though I'm not a huge Elena fan anymore, she didn't deserve that. And I"m like, Stefan, Damon, Kick her ass! And get Katherine outta Elena! You better! posted over a year ago.
